漳州职业技术学院是漳州市人民政府举办的一所全日制公办普通高职院校，前身为创办于1984年的漳州职业大学。2002年4月，经福建省人民政府批准，1979年建校的省部级重点中专漳州农业机械学校并入漳州职业大学，正式更名为漳州职业技术学院。学校是国家示范性高等职业院校、中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划高水平专业群建设单位，先后获评全国职业教育先进单位、全国毕业生就业典型经验高校、全国重点建设职业教育师资培养培训基地等荣誉称号。

Zhangzhou Institute of Technology is a full-time public vocational college sponsored by the Zhangzhou Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor was Zhangzhou Vocational University founded in 1984. In April 2002, with the approval of the Fujian Provincial People's Government, Zhangzhou Agricultural Machinery School, a provincial key technical secondary school established in 1979, was merged into Zhangzhou Vocational University and officially renamed Zhangzhou Institute of Technology. The school is a National Model Higher Vocational College, a high-level professional group construction unit of the "China特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划" (Double High-Level Plan), and has successively won honorary titles such as National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education, National Model College for Graduate Employment, and National Key Construction Base for Vocational Education Teachers Training.

学校现有全日制在校生近1.7万人，教职工897人，其中高级职称250人，博士51人，双师型教师612人。设有10个二级学院，51个专业，其中国家级重点专业12个，省级特色专业群3个。建有中央财政支持的实训基地7个、省级6个，生产性实训基地及校外实习基地410多个，教学科研仪器设备值36969万元。近年来，学生在全国职业院校技能大赛中获奖220多项、省级500多项，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上。

The school currently has nearly 17,000 full-time students and 897 faculty members, including 250 with senior professional titles, 51 doctors, and 612 dual-qualified teachers. It has 10 secondary colleges and 51 majors, including 12 national key majors and 3 provincial characteristic professional groups. There are 7 training bases supported by central finance, 6 at the provincial level, more than 410 productive training bases and off-campus internship bases, with teaching and research equipment worth 369.69 million yuan. In recent years, students have won more than 220 awards in national vocational college skills competitions and more than 500 at the provincial level, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many years.

学校深化产教融合、科教融汇，与华为、京东等企业共建8个特色产业学院，牵头组建全国数字工业产教融合共同体、漳台精密机械制造发展联盟，积极服务区域经济社会发展。对外交流广泛，与加拿大、德国等国家及台湾地区高校开展合作，获批建设菲律宾海丝学院，助力“一带一路”教育行动。

The school deepens the integration of industry and education, and the integration of science and education. It has jointly established 8 characteristic industrial colleges with enterprises such as Huawei and JD.com, took the lead in establishing the National Digital Industry Industry-Education Integration Community and the Zhangzhou-Taiwan Precision Machinery Manufacturing Development Alliance, and actively serves regional economic and social development. It has extensive international exchanges, carrying out cooperation with universities in Canada, Germany and other countries as well as Taiwan region, and has been approved to build the Philippines Maritime Silk Road College to support the "Belt and Road" education initiative.
