郑州幼儿师范高等专科学校坐落于河南省会郑州市，创建于1954年，郭沫若先生为学校题写校名，是新中国成立后河南省第一所、全国第一批独立设置的七所幼儿师范学校之一，是第一批通过河南省教育厅办学水平综合评估且达到优秀等级的师范学校，是中国和联合国儿童基金会合作项目学校，全国示范性职业教育集团（联盟）培育单位。学校是河南省幼儿教师培训中心、河南省学前融合教育发展支持中心，牵头组建河南省学前教育集团、郑州市学前教育集团和郑州市学前教育研究院，是河南省幼儿园园长省级培训基地、河南省职业院校骨干教师培训基地、河南省职业院校“双师型”教师培养培训基地，河南省教育学会幼儿教育专业委员会、河南省教育学会舞蹈教育专业委员会秘书处所在单位。

Zhengzhou Preschool Education College is located in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province. Founded in 1954, the school name was inscribed by Mr. Guo Moruo. It is one of the first seven independent preschool normal schools in Henan Province and the first batch in China after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is the first normal school that passed the comprehensive evaluation of school-running level by Henan Provincial Department of Education and reached the excellent level. It is a cooperative project school between China and the United Nations Children's Fund and a national demonstration vocational education group (alliance) cultivation unit. The school is the Henan Provincial Preschool Teacher Training Center, the Henan Provincial Preschool Inclusive Education Development Support Center, the leading unit in establishing the Henan Preschool Education Group, Zhengzhou Preschool Education Group and Zhengzhou Preschool Education Research Institute. It is also the provincial training base for kindergarten principals in Henan Province, the training base for backbone teachers in vocational colleges of Henan Province, the training base for "double-qualified" teachers in vocational colleges of Henan Province, and the secretariat of the Preschool Education Professional Committee and Dance Education Professional Committee of Henan Provincial Education Society.

学校坚持以师范教育为主、非师范教育为辅，形成了以学前教育为引领、艺术教育为特色、各专业协调发展的专业体系。截至2023年，开设学前教育、早期教育、特殊教育等25个专业，全日制在校生10000余人，教职工445人，其中教授、副教授91人，博士18人。拥有杜岭和象湖两个校区，占地面积380亩，教学科研仪器设备总值6315.5万元，校内实训室348个，校外实习基地145个，附属幼儿园5所。建校以来，累计培养培训幼儿教师近30万名，覆盖郑州市90%以上幼儿教师和95%以上幼儿园园长，先后荣获“全国师范教育先进单位”“河南省文明校园标兵”等多项荣誉。

The school adheres to normal education as the main focus and non-normal education as a supplement, forming a professional system led by preschool education, characterized by art education, and coordinated development of various majors. As of 2023, it offers 25 majors including preschool education, early childhood education, and special education, with more than 10,000 full-time students and 445 faculty members, including 91 professors and associate professors, and 18 doctors. It has two campuses, Duling and Xianghu, covering an area of 380 mu, with a total value of 63.155 million yuan in teaching and research instruments and equipment, 348 on-campus training rooms, 145 off-campus internship bases, and 5 affiliated kindergartens. Since its establishment, it has trained nearly 300,000 preschool teachers, covering more than 90% of preschool teachers and over 95% of kindergarten principals in Zhengzhou. It has successively won many honors such as "National Advanced Unit of Normal Education" and "Model Civilized Campus of Henan Province".
