驻马店职业技术学院成立于2009年，是经河南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的公办全日制高等职业技术院校。学校占地面积908760.36平方米，现有校内教师820人，校外教师257人，全日制普通在校生近2万人，各类成人教育在校生近1万人。

Zhumadian Vocational and Technical College was founded in 2009. It is a public full-time higher vocational and technical college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The college covers an area of 908,760.36 square meters, with 820 in-school teachers, 257 off-campus teachers, nearly 20,000 full-time regular students, and nearly 10,000 students in various adult education programs.

学校秉持“1+X+N”人才培养模式和“教育的一厘米之变”办学理念，探索实践“3+1+N”产教融合、科教融汇职业教育新模式。现设有12个院部，开设61个高职三年制专业、3个高职两年制专业、22个五年一贯制专业，其中国家级重点专业2个，河南省特色专业2个，河南省高水平专业群1个，形成了财经商贸类、教育类、电子信息类、土木建筑类、智能制造类、康养与护理类6大专业群。

Adhering to the "1+X+N" talent training model and the school-running philosophy of "one centimeter change in education", the college explores and practices the new "3+1+N" vocational education model integrating industry and education, science and education. It now has 12 departments, offering 61 three-year higher vocational majors, 3 two-year higher vocational majors, and 22 five-year consistent majors, including 2 national key majors, 2 Henan provincial characteristic majors, and 1 Henan provincial high-level professional group, forming 6 major professional groups: finance and commerce, education, electronic information, civil engineering and construction, intelligent manufacturing, and health care and nursing.
