Zhejiang Industry Polytechnic College is a full-time public higher education institution affiliated to Zhejiang Province, sponsored by Zhejiang Metallurgical Group (Hangzhou Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd.), founded in 1979. 学校是全国职业教育先进单位、浙江省高水平高职院校、浙江省示范性高职院校和浙江省优质高职院校，现有梅山、镜湖两个校区，占地面积912亩，全日制在校生15000余人；设8个二级学院（部），开设机电一体化技术、工程造价等48个专业，其中浙江省A类高水平专业群2个、中央财政支持重点建设专业2个、国家级骨干专业6个。拥有国家级生产型实训基地、虚拟仿真实训中心等教学平台，近三年毕业生就业率平均值达98%以上。

It has two campuses, Meishan and Jinghu, covering an area of 912 mu, with more than 15,000 full-time students. It has 8 secondary colleges (departments), offering 48 majors such as Mechatronics Technology and Engineering Cost, including 2 Class A high-level professional groups in Zhejiang Province, 2 key construction majors supported by central finance, and 6 national-level backbone majors.
