浙江纺织服装职业技术学院是由宁波市人民政府举办的全日制普通高等职业院校，是浙江省示范性高等职业院校。学校前身为1979年建立的浙江工学院宁波分校和1980年建立的浙江省纺织工业学校，2004年经浙江省人民政府批准，浙江轻纺职业技术学院与宁波服装职业技术学院合并组建而成。学校坐落于宁波市北高教园区，占地面积近800亩，资产总值8亿多元，教学、科研仪器设备资产总值近1亿元，各类图书一百万余册。

Zhejiang Fashion Institute of Technology is a full-time public higher vocational college sponsored by the Ningbo Municipal People's Government and a demonstration higher vocational college in Zhejiang Province. Its predecessors were the Ningbo Branch of Zhejiang Institute of Technology established in 1979 and Zhejiang Textile Industry School established in 1980. In 2004, with the approval of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, Zhejiang Light Textile Vocational and Technical College and Ningbo Fashion Vocational and Technical College merged to form the institute. Located in the North Higher Education Park of Ningbo, the college covers an area of nearly 800 mu, with a total asset value of over 800 million yuan, teaching and research equipment worth nearly 100 million yuan, and more than one million books of various types.

学校下设纺织学院、时装学院、艺术与设计学院等11个二级学院，现有专业34个，其中省级重点专业3个，省级示范专业4个，省级特色专业8个。学院以“修德、长技、求真、尚美”为校训，弘扬“敢为人先、精于技艺、诚信重诺、勤奋敬业”的红帮精神，致力于培养纺织服装行业高素质技能型人才。目前有在校生1万余人，教职工六百余人，高级职称教师180余人，双师素质教师290余人。

The college has 11 secondary colleges including the College of Textiles, College of Fashion, and College of Art and Design, offering 34 majors, including 3 provincial key majors, 4 provincial demonstration majors, and 8 provincial characteristic majors. With the school motto of "Cultivating Virtue, Mastering Skills, Seeking Truth, and Appreciating Beauty", the college promotes the "Hongbang Spirit" of "Daring to Be the First, Being Skilled in Craftsmanship, Being Honest and Trustworthy, and Being Diligent and Dedicated", and is committed to cultivating high-quality skilled talents for the textile and garment industry. Currently, it has over 10,000 students, more than 600 faculty members, over 180 senior title teachers, and more than 290 double-qualified teachers.

学校积极开展国际合作，与韩国大邱工业大学、日本杉野服饰大学等开展合作办学项目，并与英国十余所高校构建了良好合作关系。办学四十余年来，已为社会培养4万余名毕业生，多数成为行业领军人才和技术骨干，近三年学生获市级以上技能大赛奖1000余项，是全国纺织行业人才建设示范院校和首批全国跨境电商专业人才培养示范校。

The college actively carries out international cooperation, with joint education programs with Daegu Institute of Technology in South Korea and Sugino Fashion College in Japan, and has established good cooperative relations with more than ten universities in the UK. Over the past 40 years of running the school, it has trained more than 40,000 graduates for the society, most of whom have become industry leaders and technical backbones. In the past three years, students have won more than 1,000 awards in municipal and above skill competitions. It is a national demonstration college for talent development in the textile industry and one of the first national demonstration schools for cross-border e-commerce professional talent training.
