浙江艺术职业学院是一所国办全日制综合性高等艺术职业院校，坐落于历史文化名城杭州，现有滨文路、曙光路与至善路3个校区，全日制在校生约7000人，设有13个二级教学单位。学校是全国基层文化队伍培训基地、文化和旅游部浙江培训基地、全国非遗传承人群研修研习培训基地，也是教育部现代学徒制试点单位及浙江省非物质文化遗产研究和传承基地。办学特色鲜明，教学水平领先，是唯一连续三届获国家级教学成果奖的综合类高职艺术院校，入选中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划单位、浙江省高职高水平学校建设单位。

Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art is a public full-time comprehensive higher art vocational college located in the historical and cultural city of Hangzhou. It has three campuses: Binwen Road, Shuguang Road, and Zhishan Road, with approximately 7,000 full-time students and 13 secondary teaching units. The college serves as a national training base for grassroots cultural teams, a Zhejiang training base of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a national research and training base for intangible cultural heritage inheritors, and a pilot unit of the modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education, as well as a research and inheritance base for intangible cultural heritage in Zhejiang Province. With distinct school-running characteristics and leading teaching standards, it is the only comprehensive higher vocational art college that has won national teaching achievement awards for three consecutive sessions. It has been selected as a unit of the National High-level Vocational Schools and Professional Construction Plan and a construction unit of high-level vocational schools in Zhejiang Province.

学校开设27个专业，其中戏曲表演专业群入选国家级、省级高水平专业群，舞蹈表演、影视多媒体技术专业群为省级高水平专业群。戏曲表演、戏剧影视表演等5个专业为国家级骨干专业，声像工程技术和文物修复与保护专业获中央财政支持。国际化办学成效显著，与澳大利亚音乐学院合作举办音乐表演项目，与丽水学院开展舞蹈教育4+0本科人才培养。名师荟萃，文艺教育家黄源、京剧表演艺术家盖叫天等曾在校任教；培养出茅威涛、周迅、毛戈平等大批杰出校友，师生在各级各类大赛中屡获佳绩。

The college offers 27 majors, among which the戏曲表演 (opera performance) professional group has been selected into national and provincial high-level professional groups, and the dance performance and film & television multimedia technology professional groups are provincial high-level professional groups. Five majors including opera performance and drama film & television performance are national key majors, and the majors of audio-visual engineering technology and cultural relic restoration and protection are supported by the central finance. The college has achieved remarkable results in international education, cooperating with the Australian Institute of Music to offer a music performance program and carrying out a 4+0 undergraduate talent cultivation in dance education with Lishui University. It has a gathering of famous teachers, including literary educator Huang Yuan and Peking Opera performing artist Gai Jiaotian, who have taught at the college. It has cultivated a large number of outstanding alumni such as Mao Weitao, Zhou Xun, and Mao Geping, and teachers and students have won many awards in various competitions at all levels.
