扬州工业职业技术学院位于获得联合国人居环境奖的全国首批历史文化名城——江苏省扬州市，坐落在扬子津科教园区，占地总面积1027亩、建筑面积40万平方米。学校是江苏省中国特色高水平高职学校建设单位、江苏省示范性高等职业院校，连续五年在江苏省属高校高质量发展综合考核中位列第一等次，连续三年获得全国职业院校国际影响力50强，入选全国高职院校服务贡献典型学校60强及学生发展指数、教师发展指数优秀院校100强。

Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute is located in Yangzhou, a national first-class historical and cultural city awarded the UN Habitat Award, situated in the Yangzijin Science and Education Park. Covering a total area of 1,027 mu with a building area of 400,000 square meters, it is a construction unit for Jiangsu Province's high-level vocational schools with Chinese characteristics and a provincial示范性 higher vocational college. The institute has ranked first in the comprehensive assessment of high-quality development of Jiangsu provincial colleges for five consecutive years, won the title of Top 50 National Vocational Colleges in International Influence for three consecutive years, and been listed among the Top 60 National Vocational Colleges for Service Contribution, as well as the Top 100 Excellent Colleges for Student Development Index and Teacher Development Index.

学校办学历史可追溯至1958年创建的扬州化工学校，2004年由扬州化工学校与扬州建筑工程学校合并组建。现设有13个学院（部），开设47个专业，其中国家级骨干专业6个、省高水平专业群2个。全日制在校生16000余人，包括联合培养本科生1000余人及外国留学生370余人。拥有国家级生产性实训基地3个、省级工程研发中心5个，获国家级教学成果奖2项，建有国家级精品在线开放课程22门。

The school's educational history dates back to Yangzhou Chemical Engineering School founded in 1958, and was established in 2004 through the merger of Yangzhou Chemical Engineering School and Yangzhou Construction Engineering School. It currently has 13 colleges (departments) offering 47 majors, including 6 national-level key majors and 2 provincial high-level professional groups. With over 16,000 full-time students, including more than 1,000 jointly cultivated undergraduates and over 370 international students, the institute boasts 3 national-level productive training bases, 5 provincial engineering research and development centers, 2 national teaching achievement awards, and 22 national-level quality online open courses.

学校深化产教融合，与中石化、华为等企业共建产业学院，推行"订单班"培养模式，是教育部现代学徒制试点单位及1+X证书制度试点单位。近年来荣获国家级创新创业教育实践基地、江苏省文明校园等荣誉，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质技术技能人才，毕业生就业率连续多年保持全省领先水平。

The institute deepens industry-education integration, establishing industrial colleges with enterprises such as Sinopec and Huawei, and implementing the "order-based class" training model. It is a pilot unit for the Ministry of Education's modern apprenticeship system and the 1+X certificate system.
