义乌工商职业技术学院坐落在国际商贸名城义乌，前身为1993年义乌市人民政府与杭州大学联合创办的杭州大学义乌分校，2002年经浙江省人民政府批准成立，是一所特色鲜明的公办高职院校。学校占地面积1000余亩，下设9个教学单位33个招生专业，全日制在校生1.3万余名。秉承“尚德崇文 创业立身”的校训精神，学校坚持“根植义乌、服务区域、走向国际”的办学定位，走出一条以“创”立校的特色办学之路，是浙江省高职高水平学校、浙江省优质高职院校，连续荣登全国高职院校服务贡献、教师发展、学生发展指数优秀榜单。

Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College is located in Yiwu, the world-famous international trade city. Its predecessor was Yiwu Branch of Hangzhou University, jointly founded by Yiwu Municipal Government and Hangzhou University in 1993. Approved by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province in 2002, it is a distinctive public higher vocational college. Covering an area of over 1,000 mu, the college has 9 teaching units offering 33 majors, with more than 13,000 full-time students. Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue, Culture, and Entrepreneurship", the college adheres to the school-running orientation of "Rooted in Yiwu, Serving the Region, and Going Global", and has developed a distinctive school-running path based on "innovation". 学校以创新创业教育为核心特色，设立全省首个实体化运作的创业学院，建有创业园、创意园等近5万平方米的大学生创新创业实践基地，获评国家众创空间、全国创新创业典型经验高校。电子商务、国际经济与贸易等6个专业入选国家骨干专业，拥有2个省级高职高水平专业群，牵头成立全国直播电商职业教育集团并开发首个行业教学标准。深化产教融合，建有5个产业学院和1个混合所有制学院，与义乌小商品城集团等企业共建实训基地，60%以上毕业生留义乌就业创业，成为地方经济发展的生力军。

With innovation and entrepreneurship education as its core feature, the college has established the first实体化 entrepreneurship college in Zhejiang Province, and built nearly 50,000 square meters of practical bases for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship, including Entrepreneurship Park and Creative Park. It has been awarded the National Mass Innovation Space and National Model College for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Six majors including e-commerce and international economy and trade have been selected as national key majors, with 2 provincial high-level professional groups. It took the lead in establishing the National Live E-commerce Vocational Education Group and developed the first industry teaching standard. Deepening industry-education integration, it has built 5 industrial colleges and 1 mixed-ownership college, and co-built training bases with enterprises such as Yiwu Small Commodity City Group. More than 60% of graduates stay in Yiwu for employment and entrepreneurship, becoming a new force in local economic development.
