烟台幼儿师范高等专科学校是一所公办专科层次的全日制普通高等学校，实行省市两级管理、以烟台市为主的管理体制，是山东省仅有的3所幼儿师范高等专科学校之一。学校前身为1907年创建的毓璜顶幼稚园，历经山东省立第二乡村师范学校、胶东公学、蓬莱师范学校、莱阳师范学校等历史阶段，2020年3月经山东省政府批准正式设立，同年5月通过教育部备案，开启了高等教育办学新征程。

Yantai Preschool Education College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution at the junior college level, managed by both provincial and municipal governments with Yantai City as the main administrator. It is one of only 3 preschool education colleges in Shandong Province. The college traces its roots back to the Yuhuangding Kindergarten founded in 1907, undergoing historical stages such as Shandong Provincial No.2 Rural Normal School, Jiaodong Public School, Penglai Normal School, and Laiyang Normal School. It was officially established in March 2020 with the approval of Shandong Provincial Government and completed Ministry of Education filing in May 2020, marking a new journey in higher education.

学校位于国家历史文化名城山东省烟台市蓬莱区，校园占地面积541亩，建筑面积14.26万平方米，依山傍海，风景秀丽。现开设学前教育、早期教育、音乐教育、美术教育等18个专业，在校生5678人，在编教职工339人。专任教师中硕士及以上学位占比73.6%，双师型教师占比58%，形成了一支师德高尚、业务精湛、结构合理的教师队伍。教学设施先进，拥有智慧教室、幼儿保育实验室等各类实训场所，图书馆馆藏纸质图书44万余册，为人才培养提供坚实保障。

The college is located in Penglai District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, a national historical and cultural city. Covering an area of 541 mu with a building area of 142,600 square meters, the campus boasts beautiful scenery with mountains behind and the sea nearby. Currently, it offers 18 majors including Preschool Education, Early Childhood Education, Music Education, and Art Education, with 5,678 students and 339 faculty members. Among full-time teachers, 73.6% hold master's degrees or above, and 58% are "double-qualified" teachers, forming a team with noble ethics, excellent professionalism, and reasonable structure. Advanced teaching facilities include smart classrooms, child care laboratories and other training venues, while the library houses over 440,000 paper books, providing solid support for talent cultivation.

学校坚持以学前教育为核心，构建艺术教育、幼儿健康、公共服务及数字信息等多领域协同发展的专业群体系，形成了"师范性+职业性"双核驱动的办学特色。先后荣获山东省教师教育培训基地、山东省青春健康教育基地等称号，为区域学前教育事业发展培养了大批高素质应用型人才，被誉为"胶东幼教人才的摇篮"。

Adhering to preschool education as its core, the college has built a professional group system with coordinated development in art education, child health, public services, and digital information, forming a dual-core educational characteristic of "normal school nature + professional nature". It has successively been awarded titles such as Shandong Provincial Teacher Education and Training Base and Shandong Provincial Adolescent Health Education Base, cultivating a large number of high-quality applied talents for regional preschool education development and known as "the cradle of preschool education talents in Jiaodong".
