永城职业学院是经河南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的一所公办全日制高等职业院校。学院坐落于素有汉兴之地、能源之都、面粉之乡、生态之城美誉的永城市，交通便利，郑徐高铁、连霍高速、德上高速和盐洛高速交汇于此，永城市飞机场正在紧张筹建，潺潺沱河、巍巍芒砀平添了整座城市的宜人景色。学院前身是创办于1956年的永城师范学校，几经更名，于2004年5月经河南省人民政府批准成立永城职业学院。

Yongcheng Vocational College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Henan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Yongcheng City, known as the land of Han Dynasty's rise, the capital of energy, the hometown of flour, and an ecological city. It enjoys convenient transportation, with the Zhengzhou-Xuzhou High-speed Railway, Lianhuo Expressway, Deshang Expressway and Yanluo Expressway intersecting here. The Yongcheng Airport is under construction, and the gurgling Tuohe River and the towering Mangdang Mountain add to the pleasant scenery of the whole city. The predecessor of the college was Yongcheng Normal School founded in 1956. After several name changes, it was approved by the People's Government of Henan Province in May 2004 to establish Yongcheng Vocational College.

学院是河南省职业教育品牌示范院校，是河南省骨干高职院校建设项目立项建设单位、河南省职业教育特色院校建设计划立项建设学校和河南省高技能人才培养示范基地项目建设单位，先后被授予河南省普通大中专毕业生就业工作先进集体、河南省维稳工作先进单位、河南省园林单位等荣誉称号。学院设有机电工程系、文化艺术系、经济贸易系等10个系部，开设有48个专业（方向），涵盖电子与信息大类、装备制造大类等10个专业大类，其中机电一体化技术专业、通风技术与安全管理专业被认定为高等职业教育创新发展行动计划骨干专业，矿山机电与智能装备等专业为省级特色专业。

The college is a brand demonstration school of vocational education in Henan Province, a project-approved construction unit for key higher vocational colleges in Henan Province, a project-approved construction school for the characteristic vocational education institutions construction plan in Henan Province, and a project construction unit for the demonstration base of high-skilled talents training in Henan Province. It has been awarded honors such as Advanced Collective for Employment Work of General College Graduates in Henan Province, Advanced Unit for Stability Maintenance Work in Henan Province, and Garden Unit in Henan Province. The college has 10 departments including the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the Department of Culture and Art, and the Department of Economic and Trade, offering 48 majors (directions) covering 10 major categories such as electronic and information, equipment manufacturing, etc. Among them, the major of Mechatronics Technology and Ventilation Technology and Safety Management are recognized as key majors in the Innovation and Development Action Plan for Higher Vocational Education, and majors such as Mine Electromechanical and Intelligent Equipment are provincial-level characteristic majors.

学院教学设施完善，建设有智能制造实训中心等校内实验实训室近150个，拥有中央财政支持的煤矿安全实训基地、建筑技术实训基地等，与河南能源化工集团、海尔集团等60多家知名企业签订校企合作协议，通过引企入校、订单培养等方式深化产教融合，致力于培养德智体美劳全面发展的社会主义建设者和接班人。

The college has complete teaching facilities, with nearly 150 on-campus experimental training rooms including an intelligent manufacturing training center. It has coal mine safety training bases and construction technology training bases supported by the central finance. It has signed school-enterprise cooperation agreements with more than 60 well-known enterprises such as Henan Energy and Chemical Group and Haier Group. Through introducing enterprises into the campus and order-based training, it deepens the integration of industry and education, and is committed to cultivating socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical education, aesthetics and labor.
