新乡职业技术学院是2009年2月经河南省人民政府批准设立、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，由新乡市人民政府举办。学校在整合新乡市13所院校资源基础上组建而成，办学历史最早可追溯至1883年中州名儒李时灿先生在卫辉府创建的汲县读书社（后更名为经正书院、经正师范学堂、河南省立第五师范学校等）。学校坐落于太行南麓、卫水之滨，位于豫北中心城市新乡市国家级经济技术开发区，现有主校区、卫辉贡院校区、卫辉和平校区、黄河大道校区、科隆大道校区、新飞大道校区六个校区，校园占地155万平方米，建筑面积62.35万平方米。

Xinxiang Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government in February 2009 and filed by the Ministry of Education, sponsored by the Xinxiang Municipal People's Government. The school was established on the basis of integrating the resources of 13 colleges and universities in Xinxiang City, and its school-running history can be traced back to the Jixian Reading Club founded by Mr. Li Shican, a famous Confucian scholar in Zhongzhou, in Weihui Prefecture in 1883 (later renamed Jingzheng Academy, Jingzheng Normal School, Henan Provincial Fifth Normal School, etc.). Located at the southern foot of the Taihang Mountains and on the bank of the Wei River, the school is situated in the national economic and technological development zone of Xinxiang, a central city in northern Henan. It has six campuses: the main campus, Weihui Gongyuan Campus, Weihui Heping Campus, Huanghe Avenue Campus, Kelong Avenue Campus, and Xinfei Avenue Campus, covering an area of 1.55 million square meters with a building area of 623,500 square meters.

学校现有固定资产总值10余亿元，其中教学仪器设备总值3亿余元。图书馆馆藏纸质图书161.6万余册，电子图书79.5万余册。学校现有教职工1127人，其中专任教师880人，高级职称338人，具有博士、硕士学位388人，双师素质教师606人。设有智能制造学院、数控技术学院、师范学院、交通学院、航海学院、信息工程学院、财经学院、体育与健康学院等13个二级学院及5个公共课教学单位，开设高职专业（方向）63个，普通全日制在校生3.2万余人。学校是全国第一批现代学徒制试点单位、全国第一批职业院校数字校园建设试点单位、河南省首批高水平高职学校和高水平专业群建设单位，荣获国家技能人才培育突出贡献奖、全国职业教育先进单位等荣誉称号300余项。

The school has a total fixed assets of more than 1 billion yuan, including teaching instruments and equipment worth more than 300 million yuan. The library has a collection of more than 1.616 million paper books and 795,000 e-books. The school has 1,127 faculty members, including 880 full-time teachers, 338 with senior professional titles, 388 with doctoral or master's degrees, and 606 double-qualified teachers. It has 13 secondary colleges such as the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, School of Numerical Control Technology, Normal College, School of Transportation, School of Navigation, School of Information Engineering, School of Finance and Economics, School of Physical Education and Health, and 5 public teaching units, offering 63 higher vocational majors (directions) with more than 32,000 full-time students. The school is one of the first national pilot units for modern apprenticeship, one of the first national pilot units for digital campus construction in vocational colleges, and one of the first batch of high-level vocational colleges and high-level professional group construction units in Henan Province. It has won more than 300 honorary titles such as the National Outstanding Contribution Award for Skilled Talents Cultivation and National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education.
