许昌电气职业学院是经教育部备案，2011年河南省人民政府批准，许昌市人民政府主办的一所多学科、全日制公办普通高等职业院校。学院坐落于汉魏故都——河南省许昌市，位于城乡一体化示范区魏文路与永昌大道交叉口，东临学院河，北靠电力装备制造产业聚集区中原电气谷，交通便利，环境幽美。

Xuchang Electrical Vocational College is a multi-disciplinary, full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government in 2011 and registered with the Ministry of Education. Located in Xuchang City, Henan Province, an ancient capital of the Han and Wei Dynasties, the college is situated at the intersection of Weiwen Road and Yongchang Avenue in the Urban-Rural Integration Demonstration Zone, adjacent to the College River to the east and the Central Plains Electric Valley, a power equipment manufacturing industrial cluster, to the north, enjoying convenient transportation and a beautiful environment.

学校规划总占地面积990亩，校舍建筑面积32.5万平方米，总投资近10亿元。建有实验（训）室近百个，仪器设备总价值约5亿元，馆藏图书51.5万册，办学条件优越。现开设电气自动化技术、机电一体化技术、计算机应用技术等54个专业，形成了以电气类专业为特色，涵盖工、管、经、文等多学科协调发展的专业体系。

The college has a planned total area of 990 mu and a school building area of 325,000 square meters, with a total investment of nearly 1 billion yuan. It has nearly 100 laboratories and training rooms, with instruments and equipment worth about 500 million yuan, and a collection of 515,000 books, providing superior running conditions. Currently, it offers 54 majors including Electrical Automation Technology, Mechatronics Technology, and Computer Application Technology, forming a professional system featuring electrical majors and coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as engineering, management, economics, and liberal arts.

学院师资力量雄厚，拥有专职教师和双师型教师471人，其中副高级以上职称90人，博士硕士共92人。全日制高职在校生、开放教育注册生等各类学生18850人。学院秉承“诚信、善思、崇德、砺志”的校训，坚持“以知识为根，以人才为本，以市场为源，以创新为魂”的办学理念，致力于培养高素质技术技能人才，为区域经济社会发展提供有力的人才支撑。

The college boasts a strong teaching staff, with 471 full-time teachers and double-qualified teachers, including 90 with associate senior titles or above and 92 with doctoral or master's degrees.
