无锡商业职业技术学院始建于1965年，是经江苏省人民政府批准成立、教育部备案的省属公办全日制普通高等学校，为中国特色高水平高职院校和专业建设单位、全国优质专科高职院校。学校前身为无锡市商业学校，2000年升格为高等职业技术学院，现有全日制在校生15000余人，教职工800余人，建校以来已为社会培养10万余名技术技能人才。

Wuxi Vocational Institute of Commerce, founded in 1965, is a public full-time vocational college approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is designated as a China Featured High-level Vocational College and National High-quality Vocational College. Formerly known as Wuxi Commercial School, it was upgraded to a higher vocational institute in 2000. The institute now has over 15,000 full-time students and more than 800 faculty members, having cultivated over 100,000 technical talents for society since its establishment.

学校以数字商业人才培养为特色，构建AI赋能智慧育人体系，开设"人工智能与信息技术"等通识课程，将AI技术融入专业教学；建有167个实验实训室和国家级实训基地，教学设备总值7800余万元，图书馆纸质藏书超93万册。近年荣获全国高职院校育人成效50强、国际影响力50强等称号，连续3次被授予"江苏省高技能人才摇篮奖"。

Specializing in digital business talent cultivation, the institute has developed an AI-empowered intelligent education system, offering general courses like "Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology" while integrating AI technologies into professional teaching. It houses 167 laboratories and national-level training bases with teaching equipment worth over 78 million yuan, and its library holds more than 930,000 paper books. In recent years, it has been ranked among China's Top 50 Vocational Colleges for Education Effectiveness and International Influence, and has been awarded the "Jiangsu Provincial High-skilled Talent Cradle Award" three times.
