无锡城市职业技术学院是经江苏省人民政府批准、教育部备案，由无锡市人民政府举办的全日制公办高职（专科）院校，办学历史可追溯至1911年成立的江苏官立第三师范学堂。2004年由多所院校合并组建，2013年无锡高等师范学校整体并入，现有荣毅仁、薛暮桥、吴冠中、胡福明等知名校友。

Wuxi City College of Vocational Technology is a full-time public higher vocational (junior college) institution approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by the Wuxi Municipal People's Government. Its educational history dates back to the Jiangsu Official Third Normal School founded in 1911. Established in 2004 through the merger of multiple institutions, it incorporated Wuxi Higher Normal School in 2013 and counts prominent alumni such as Rong Yiren, Xue Muqiao, Wu Guanzhong, and Hu Fuming.

学校占地822.38亩，建筑面积32万平方米，全日制在校生11610人，教职工743人。设有14个教学院（部），开设52个高职专业，形成与无锡产业契合的专业体系，其中国家级示范专业2个、中央财政支持专业2个，省级高水平专业群1个、品牌特色专业多个。

Covering 822.38 mu (54.8 hectares) with 320,000 square meters of floor space, the college has 11,610 full-time students and 743 faculty members. It comprises 14 teaching schools (departments) offering 52 vocational programs, forming a discipline system aligned with Wuxi's industrial needs. This includes 2 national demonstration programs, 2 centrally-funded key programs, 1 provincial high-level professional cluster, and multiple provincial brand/characteristic programs.

学校注重产教融合与文化育人，建有285个校外实习基地及多个产业学院，获省级以上教学成果奖8项，学生在职业技能大赛中获奖550余项。图书馆、紫砂馆等文化基地及特色活动，深化学生职业素养与人文素质培养。

The college emphasizes industry-education integration and cultural education, with 285 off-campus internship bases and multiple industry colleges. It has won 8 provincial-level teaching achievement awards, and students have claimed over 550 prizes in vocational skills competitions.
