乌兰察布医学高等专科学校前身是1959年成立的乌兰察布盟卫生学校，2009年经教育部批准升格为全日制专科学校，是内蒙古自治区唯一一所公办医学高等专科学校。学校位于乌兰察布市集宁新区，校本部占地面积35万平方米，建筑面积11万平方米，为自治区园林式单位，由校本部和附属医院组成。

Ulanqab Medical College originated from Ulanqab League Health School established in 1959. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2009, it was upgraded to a full-time college and is the only public medical college in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Located in Jining New District of Ulanqab City, the college consists of the main campus and an affiliated hospital, with the main campus covering 350,000 square meters and a building area of 110,000 square meters, recognized as a Garden-style Unit by the Autonomous Region.

学校现有在校生8178人（含扩招生），教职工330人，其中博士研究生3人、硕士研究生88人。馆藏图书35万册，实验室87个，教学科研仪器设备总值5000余万元。开设护理、临床医学、中医学、蒙医学等19个专业，其中护理专业为重点专业，医学检验技术专业获批自治区首批职业院校特色专业，拥有7个自治区级优秀教学团队及1个草原英才工程创新团队。

The college currently has 8,178 students (including expanded enrollment) and 330 faculty members, including 3 doctoral students and 88 master's students. It houses 350,000 books, 87 laboratories, and teaching and research equipment worth over 50 million yuan. Offering 19 majors such as Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Mongolian Medicine, it features Nursing as a key major and Medical Laboratory Technology as one of the first characteristic majors of vocational colleges in the Autonomous Region. The college also boasts 7 autonomous region-level excellent teaching teams and 1 "Grassland Talents" engineering innovation team.

学校坚持“开放办学、医教融合、校企合作、协同育人”理念，拥有12所临床教学医院和57家校外实习基地，与北京博奥晶典等企业合作开设订单班。2024年毕业生就业率达94.6%，专升本上线率32.3%，是自治区大中小学劳动教育实践基地及职业技能等级考试基地。

Adhering to the philosophy of "Open Education, Medical-Educational Integration, School-Enterprise Cooperation, and Collaborative Education", the college has 12 clinical teaching hospitals and 57 off-campus internship bases, cooperating with enterprises like Beijing CapitalBio to offer order-based classes. With a graduate employment rate of 94.6% and a 32.3% admission rate to undergraduate programs in 2024, it serves as a labor education practice base for primary and secondary schools and a vocational skill level examination base in the Autonomous Region.
