铜陵职业技术学院是铜陵市政府举办的全日制普通高职院校，坚持立足铜陵、服务皖江、面向长三角的办学定位，以服务地方产业转型升级和学生成长成才为核心，构建了中高职衔接、本科层次职业教育、职业技能培训鉴定及继续教育纵向贯通的技能人才培养体系。学院先后成为安徽省地方技能型高水平大学建设院校、全国首批1+X证书试点院校、安徽省双高计划学校建设单位等，现有全日制高职在校生1.5万余人，联合培养本科生230人，专任教师461人，其中高级职称133人、省级双师型教师189人。

Tongling Polytechnic is a full-time public vocational college sponsored by the Tongling Municipal Government. Adhering to the orientation of being based in Tongling, serving the Wanjiang region, and facing the Yangtze River Delta, it focuses on serving local industrial transformation and upgrading as well as students' growth and development. The college has built a vertically integrated skill talent training system that connects secondary and higher vocational education, includes undergraduate-level vocational education, vocational skill training and appraisal, and continuing education. It has successively become a construction institution for Anhui Provincial Local Skilled High-Level University, one of the first national 1+X certificate pilot institutions, and a construction unit for Anhui Provincial Double High-Level Plan. Currently, it has over 15,000 full-time vocational college students, 230 jointly cultivated undergraduates, and 461 full-time teachers, including 133 with senior professional titles and 189 provincial-level double-qualified teachers.

学院占地860亩，建筑面积32万平方米（含在建），下设铜陵开放大学、管理系、经贸系、医学系等12个教学单位及1所直属附属医院，开设40个高职专业，形成电子信息、智能制造、康宁养护等五大专业群，拥有2个国家级专业、2个央财支持建设专业、8个省级高水平专业（群）。学院注重产教融合与校企合作，建有189个校内实训基地和200多个校外实习实训基地，牵头组建铜陵市域产教联合体，近三年获批25个省级科研项目、34个省级教研项目，授权专利14项，毕业生就业率持续保持92%以上，用人单位满意率超90%。

Covering an area of 860 mu with a building area of 320,000 square meters (including under-construction projects), the college has 12 teaching units including Tongling Open University, Department of Management, Department of Economics and Trade, Department of Medicine, and one affiliated hospital. It offers 40 higher vocational majors, forming five major professional groups such as electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, and health care. The college has 2 national-level majors, 2 majors supported by the central finance, and 8 provincial-level high-level majors (groups). Focusing on industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, it has built 189 on-campus training bases and over 200 off-campus internship and training bases, and led the establishment of the Tongling Regional Industry-Education Consortium. In the past three years, it has obtained 25 provincial-level scientific research projects, 34 provincial-level teaching and research projects, and 14 authorized patents. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 92%, and the satisfaction rate of employers exceeds 90%.
