苏州卫生职业技术学院是一所江苏省省属全日制公办专科层次普通高校，前身是1911年美国基督教会创办的博习医院护士学校，深耕医学教育领域已有百余年历史。学校是江苏省首家卫生类示范性高等职业院校、江苏省中国特色高水平高职学校建设单位，坐落于历史文化名城苏州，主校区位于石湖之畔的苏州国际教育园北区，另设有书院巷和木渎两个校区，总占地753亩，建筑面积35万余平方米。

Suzhou Vocational Health College is a public full-time junior college directly under Jiangsu Province. Its predecessor was the Boshi Hospital Nurse School founded by the American Christian Church in 1911, with over a century of dedication to medical education. As the first health-related示范性 higher vocational college in Jiangsu Province and a construction unit for Jiangsu Provincial High-level Vocational Schools with Chinese Characteristics, the college is located in the historical and cultural city of Suzhou. Its main campus lies beside the beautiful Shihu Lake in the North District of Suzhou International Education Park, with two other campuses in Shuyuanxiang (ancient city area) and Mudu (ancient town), covering a total area of 753 mu (502,000 square meters) with a building area of over 350,000 square meters.

学校现有全日制在校生约1万人，教职工855人，其中校内专任教师463人，硕博士比例近80%，高级职称比例近40%，双师素质教师占比超90%。设有护理学院、药学院、医学技术学院等10个教学机构，开设护理、药学、医学检验技术等22个紧贴卫生健康产业的专业，其中护理、药学、医学检验技术为中央财政支持重点建设专业，护理专业群、医学检验技术专业群入选江苏省高等职业教育高水平专业群。

The college currently has approximately 10,000 full-time students and 855 faculty members, including 463 full-time teachers. Among the full-time teachers, nearly 80% hold master's or doctoral degrees, nearly 40% have senior professional titles, and over 90% possess dual-qualification (academic and professional). It comprises 10 teaching units such as the School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, and School of Medical Technology, offering 22 health-industry-aligned programs including Nursing, Pharmacy, and Medical Laboratory Technology. Nursing, Pharmacy, and Medical Laboratory Technology are key programs supported by the central finance, while the Nursing program group and Medical Laboratory Technology program group are listed as High-level Vocational Education Program Groups in Jiangsu Province.

学校拥有国家级教学团队2个、省级教学团队6个，中央财政支持实训基地2个，获国家级教学成果奖1项，承担国家自然科学基金项目5项。作为全国护士执业资格考试命审题基地和卫生专业技术资格考试试题开发基地，学校始终以培养高素质卫生健康技术技能人才为目标，毕业生就业率连续多年保持全省高校前列，为区域医疗卫生事业发展作出重要贡献。

The college boasts 2 national-level teaching teams, 6 provincial-level teaching teams, and 2 central finance-supported training bases, and has won 1 National Teaching Achievement Award. It has undertaken 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects. As a national question-setting base for the Nurse Practitioner Qualification Examination and a question development base for health professional and technical qualification examinations, the college is committed to cultivating high-quality health technical talents. Its graduates' employment rate has ranked among the top in Jiangsu Province's colleges for many years, making significant contributions to regional medical and health development.
