上海行健职业学院是经上海市人民政府批准、国家教育部备案,由政府主办的公办全日制高等职业学院。学校前身为1975年创建的上海市闸北区业余大学,2001年转制更名为上海行健职业学院,校名源自《周易》"天行健,君子以自强不息",由著名科学家钱伟长题写。学院地处上海市静安区中心区域,毗邻市北高新园区,以"进德修业,自强不息"为校训,形成了地区性、通用性、独特性和国际化的办学特色。
Shanghai Xingjian College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Formerly established as Shanghai Zhabei District Spare-time University in 1975, it was restructured and renamed in 2001. The college's name, derived from the I Ching phrase "As heaven maintains vigor through movement, a gentleman should constantly strive for self-improvement", was inscribed by renowned scientist Qian Weichang. Located in the central area of Jing'an District, adjacent to the市北 High-tech Park, the college adheres to the motto "Cultivate virtue and pursue learning, strive for self-improvement" and has formed distinctive school-running characteristics of regional relevance, universality, uniqueness and internationalization.
学院以高等职业教育为主体,设有学前教育、经济管理、信息技术与机电工程、应用艺术、商务外语五个系,开设二十余个专业,构建了以五大市级重点专业为龙头的专业群体系。学院注重产教融合与实践教学,与美、日、法、澳、德等国高校建立合作关系,并与国内外本科院校、知名企业开展联合办学,多年来毕业生就业率保持在97%以上,六次获评上海市文明单位,两次荣获上海市职业教育先进单位称号。
With higher vocational education as its main focus, the college has five departments: Preschool Education, Economic Management, Information Technology and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Applied Arts, and Business Foreign Languages, offering over 20 majors. It has established a professional group system led by five municipal key majors. The college emphasizes industry-education integration and practical teaching, establishing cooperative relationships with universities in the United States, Japan, France, Australia, Germany and other countries, and carrying out joint education programs with domestic and foreign undergraduate institutions and well-known enterprises. For many years, the employment rate of graduates has remained above 97%. The college has been awarded the title of Shanghai Civilized Unit six times and Shanghai Advanced Unit in Vocational Education twice.
