上海南湖职业技术学院是教育部批准的公办高职院校，作为上海第一所新型（五年一贯制）高职，依托原南湖职业学校办学基础，于2021年4月正式挂牌成立。学院由上海市教委和虹口区人民政府共建，实施三年制、五年一贯制学历教育及职业技能培训，秉持“创业创新，追求一流”的办学精神，以“厚德精技 善思笃行”为校训，培养兼具红色基因、文化素质与专业技能的高素质技术技能人才。

Shanghai Nanhu Vocational and Technical College is a public higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education. As Shanghai's first new-type (five-year consistent) vocational college, it was officially established on April 9, 2021, relying on the solid educational foundation of the former Nanhu Vocational School. Co-built by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Hongkou District People's Government, the college offers three-year and five-year consistent academic education as well as vocational skills training. Adhering to the educational spirit of "Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Pursuit of Excellence" and the school motto of "Virtue, Proficiency, Reflection, and Practice", it cultivates high-quality technical talents with red gene, cultural literacy and professional skills.

学院以数字创意、智能汽车服务、健康护理、智慧商旅四大专业群为核心，构建“专业群+产教融合平台+企业”育人模式，与宁德时代、上汽集团等80余家头部企业深度合作，成立4个产业学院及多个产教联合体。拥有全国示范性虚拟仿真实训基地、上海市5G+XR智能汽车虚拟仿真示范基地等教学平台，是教育部中德合作SGAVE项目新能源汽车专业试点单位（上海唯一），2025年入选上海市新一轮高水平高职培育建设学校。

With four key professional groups (Digital Creativity, Intelligent Automotive Services, Health Care, and Smart Business Travel), the college has built an educational model of "Professional Group + Industry-Education Integration Platform + Enterprises". It has in-depth cooperation with over 80 leading enterprises including CATL and SAIC Motor, established 4 industrial colleges and multiple industry-education integration consortia. Equipped with teaching platforms like the National Demonstrative Virtual Simulation Training Base and Shanghai 5G+XR Intelligent (Connected) Automobile Virtual Simulation Demonstration Base, it is the only pilot unit in Shanghai for the SGAVE project (Sino-German Cooperation in Vocational Education) in new energy vehicle detection and maintenance major approved by the Ministry of Education, and was selected as a Shanghai high-level vocational college cultivation institution for 2025-2027.
