上海科学技术职业学院是经上海市人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制高等职业院校，创建于1959年，前身为上海计算技术学校。学校地处有“国际汽车城”之称的嘉定城区，是上海市文明单位、安全文明校园、绿色学校和花园单位，2016年以优秀等第通过上海市特色高等职业院校验收，2021年入选上海市高水平高职学校和高水平高职专业群建设单位。

Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1959, its predecessor was Shanghai Computing Technology School. Located in Jiading District, known as the "International Automobile City", the school is a Shanghai Civilized Unit, Safe and Civilized Campus, Green School, and Garden Unit. It passed the acceptance of Shanghai Characteristic Higher Vocational Colleges with excellent grades in 2016 and was selected as a Shanghai High-level Vocational School and High-level Vocational Major Group Construction Unit in 2021.

学校秉持“工科立校，科技引领”定位，形成以人工智能、智能制造、新能源汽车等工科专业群为主体，商贸与人文专业群为两翼的“一体两翼”布局，下设25个专业，其中国家在线精品课程1门、上海市精品课程24门，拥有腾讯云人工智能、百度Apollo智能网联汽车等现代产业学院。现有在校生8000余人，专任教师中高级职称占比超30%，毕业生就业率连续多年保持98%以上，为上海及长三角地区培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

Adhering to the orientation of "establishing the school with engineering and leading by science and technology", the school has formed an "one body and two wings" layout with engineering majors such as artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, and new energy vehicles as the main body, and business and humanities majors as the two wings. It offers 25 majors, including 1 national online quality course and 24 Shanghai quality courses, and has modern industrial colleges such as Tencent Cloud Artificial Intelligence and Baidu Apollo Intelligent Connected Vehicle. With over 8,000 students and more than 30% of full-time teachers with senior titles, the school has maintained a graduate employment rate of over 98% for many years, cultivating a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents for Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region.
