盘锦职业技术学院是1998年经国家教育部批准成立的辽宁省第一所以职业技术学院命名的综合性公办高等职业院校，其前身为原辽宁省电大盘锦分校、盘锦师范学校等5所学校，办学历史可追溯至1970年。2013年8月搬迁至盘锦市辽东湾新区新校区，现占地面积28.8万平方米（约合431.5亩），建筑面积17.6万平方米，馆藏图书70.5万册，全日制在籍学生1万余人。

Panjin Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive public higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education in 1998, being the first vocational and technical college named in Liaoning Province. Its predecessor includes 5 schools such as the former Panjin Branch of Liaoning Radio and Television University and Panjin Normal School, with a school-running history dating back to 1970. In August 2013, it moved to the new campus in Liaodong Bay New District, Panjin City, now covering an area of 288,000 square meters (about 431.5 mu), with a building area of 176,000 square meters, 705,000 books in the collection, and more than 10,000 full-time students.

学校设有医疗护理学院、师范教育学院等9个二级学院，开设康复治疗技术、学前教育、智能制造装备技术等32个全日制高职专科专业，涵盖理、工、医、经、教育等多个领域。现有教职工547人，其中具有研究生学位教师占比55.3%，高级职称教师占比34.4%，双师型教师352人，教学科研仪器设备总值达1.62亿元。

The college has 9 secondary colleges including the School of Medical Nursing and the School of Normal Education, offering 32 full-time higher vocational specialties such as Rehabilitation Therapy Technology, Preschool Education, and Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Technology, covering multiple fields of science, engineering, medicine, economics, and education. There are 547 faculty members, among whom 55.3% have postgraduate degrees, 34.4% have senior professional titles, 352 are dual-qualified teachers, and the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment reaches 162 million yuan.
