南通职业大学始建于1973年，坐落于江苏省南通市，1983年经江苏省人民政府批准、教育部备案，成为全国首批公办高等职业院校。学校是国家“双高计划”高水平专业群建设单位、全国高职高专人才培养工作水平优秀院校，现有崇川和海门两个校区，校园总面积1000多亩，建筑面积40多万平方米，教职工800多人，各级各类在校生近20000人。

Nantong Vocational University was founded in 1973 and is located in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. Approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in 1983, it is one of the first public higher vocational colleges in China. The university is a construction unit for high-level professional groups under the national "Double High-Level Plan" and an excellent institution in talent cultivation evaluation for national higher vocational colleges. It has two campuses in Chongchuan and Haimen, covering a total area of over 1,000 mu with a building area of more than 400,000 square meters. It has over 800 faculty members and nearly 20,000 students at all levels.

学校设有12个学院，开设50多个专业，形成以工为主，文、管、艺并举的专业格局，其中国家“双高计划”专业群1个、国家骨干专业5个。学校深入推进产教融合，开创性提出“八个对接”理念，与中兴通讯、阿里巴巴等知名企业共建实训基地，荣获国家级教学成果一等奖1项，省级教学成果特等奖1项、一等奖3项。

The university has 12 colleges offering more than 50 majors, forming a discipline structure with engineering as the main focus, supplemented by arts, management, and art. It boasts 1 national "Double High-Level Plan" professional group and 5 national key majors. Deeply promoting industry-education integration, the university pioneered the "Eight Connections" concept and has established training bases with renowned enterprises such as ZTE and Alibaba. It has won 1 first prize for national teaching achievements, 1 special prize, and 3 first prizes for provincial teaching achievements.
