南京科技职业学院是江苏省人民政府举办、教育厅直管的普通高等院校，是国家示范性（骨干）高等职业院校、江苏省首批示范高职院校，也是江苏省中国特色高水平高职学校。学校地处国家级南京江北新区，毗邻国家级新材料科技园，其办学历史可追溯至1934年民族化学工业先驱范旭东先生创办的永利化学工业公司铔厂厂办校，历经多次变迁，于2015年更名为南京科技职业学院。学校秉承“仁爱、求真、笃行、拓新”的校训，铸就了“精益求精、追求卓越”的南京科院精神，以“政行校企合作共赢、产学研用结合共进”为办学方针，致力于为区域经济社会发展培养化工高素质技术技能人才。

Nanjing Polytechnic Institute is a public higher education institution sponsored by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and directly managed by the Provincial Department of Education. It is a national demonstration (backbone) higher vocational college, one of the first batch of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province, and also a high-level vocational school with Chinese characteristics in Jiangsu. Located in the national Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, adjacent to the national new material science and technology park, the school's educational history can be traced back to the factory-run school of Yongli Chemical Industry Company founded by Mr. Fan Xudong, a pioneer of the national chemical industry, in 1934. After several changes, it was renamed Nanjing Polytechnic Institute in 2015. Adhering to the school motto of "Benevolence, Truth-seeking, Persistence, and Innovation", the school has forged the Nanjing Science and Technology College spirit of "Striving for Perfection and Pursuing Excellence". With the school-running policy of "Win-win Cooperation among Government, Industry, Enterprises and Schools, and Joint Progress through Integration of Production, Education and Research", it is committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents in chemical industry for regional economic and social development.

学校占地面积740亩，建筑总面积35万平方米，现有全日制在校生13700余人，教职工728人，其中专任教师565人。设有13个教学单位，形成以化工为特色，工、经、文、管、医、艺多科性协调发展的专业结构，拥有国家级重点建设专业5个、中央财政支持重点建设专业2个、省级高水平专业群2个等多个优质专业。学校创新实践“一体两翼三维四化五新”校企合作模式，建成国家级、省级及校内外实训基地413个，为学生提供了良好的实践平台。多年来，学校荣获多项荣誉，连续四年获江苏省普通高校综合考核第一等次，培养输送了10万余德智体美劳全面发展的高素质技术技能人才，在行业和区域经济社会发展中做出了杰出贡献。

The school covers an area of 740 mu with a total construction area of 350,000 square meters. It currently has more than 13,700 full-time students and 728 faculty members, including 565 full-time teachers. There are 13 teaching units, forming a professional structure with chemical industry as the特色 and coordinated development of engineering, economics, literature, management, medicine, and art. It has 5 national key construction majors, 2 key construction majors supported by central finance, 2 provincial high-level professional groups and many other high-quality majors. The school innovatively practices the "One Body, Two Wings, Three Dimensions, Four Modernizations, Five New" school-enterprise cooperation model, and has built 413 training bases at the national, provincial, school and off-campus levels, providing a good practice platform for students. Over the years, the school has won many honors, including the first grade in the comprehensive assessment of ordinary colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province for four consecutive years. It has cultivated and transported more than 100,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor, making outstanding contributions to the industry and regional economic and social development.
