辽阳职业技术学院坐落在北方历史文化名城辽宁省辽阳市，是经国家教育部批准成立的国有公办全日制普通高等学校，为辽阳市属地方性高职院校，同时也是辽宁省示范性高职院校、辽宁省兴辽卓越高职院校及专业群建设单位。学校始建于1949年，前身为多所院校合并而来，2002年正式更名为辽阳职业技术学院，至今已有70余年办学历史。

Liaoyang Vocational and Technical College is located in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, a famous northern historical and cultural city. It is a state-owned public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education of China, serving as a local higher vocational college affiliated to Liaoyang City. It is also a model higher vocational college in Liaoning Province, a "Xingliao Outstanding" higher vocational college and professional group construction unit in Liaoning Province. Founded in 1949, the college evolved from the merger of multiple institutions and was officially renamed Liaoyang Vocational and Technical College in 2002, boasting a history of over 70 years in running schools.

学院占地面积34.7万平方米（约520.6亩），设有11个院系、36个专业，涵盖装备制造、生物化工、信息工程、现代服务、艺术设计和师范教育等六大专业群。拥有国家级实训基地2个、省级实训基地5个，其中国家级专业能力提升建设专业2个，省级品牌及示范专业4个。现有专任教师224人，研究生学位教师占比47.8%，高级职称教师占比30.8%，全日制在校生6000余人。

The college covers an area of 347,000 square meters (approximately 520.6 mu), with 11 departments and 36 majors, covering six major professional groups including equipment manufacturing, biochemical engineering, information engineering, modern services, art design, and teacher education. It has 2 national-level training bases and 5 provincial-level training bases, including 2 national-level professional capacity enhancement construction majors and 4 provincial-level brand and demonstration majors. Currently, there are 224 full-time teachers, with 47.8% holding postgraduate degrees and 30.8% having senior professional titles, and over 6,000 full-time students.

学校以“校企合作、工学结合”为办学特色，创新“2211”教学模式与六种校企合作办学模式，建有44个实验实训室及100余个校外实习基地，教学科研仪器设备总值达1.09亿元。近年来荣获“辽宁省文明单位”“辽宁省文明校园”等称号，面向全国招生，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

With "school-enterprise cooperation and work-study integration" as its school-running feature, the college has innovated the "2211" teaching model and six school-enterprise cooperation models. It has 44 experimental training rooms and over 100 off-campus internship bases, with the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment reaching 109 million yuan. In recent years, it has been awarded titles such as "Liaoning Provincial Civilized Unit" and "Liaoning Provincial Civilized Campus". Enrolling students nationwide, the college has maintained an employment rate of over 95% for graduates for many years, cultivating a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
