连云港职业技术学院坐落在黄海之滨、花果山下的江苏省连云港市，是一所公办全日制普通高等院校。其前身是1983年经江苏省人民政府批准成立的连云港职业大学，是全国最早举办高等职业教育的院校之一；1999年3月，经教育部批准，在连云港职业大学与连云港市职业技术教育中心的基础上组建连云港职业技术学院。学校秉承“德才兼备、知行合一”的校训精神，坚持以现代化高质量大服务发展理念为引领，确立扎根港城办教育、服务产业促发展，加快培育适配产业、适宜创业、适应就业的高素质技术技能人才的发展定位。

Lianyungang Technical College is located in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, at the foot of Huaguoshan Mountain and by the Yellow Sea. It is a public full-time ordinary institution of higher learning. Its predecessor was Lianyungang Vocational University, approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in 1983, and was one of the earliest institutions in China to offer higher vocational education. In March 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Lianyungang Technical College was established on the basis of Lianyungang Vocational University and Lianyungang Vocational and Technical Education Center. Adhering to the school motto of "Having Both Virtue and Talent, Unity of Knowledge and Practice", the college is guided by the concept of modern, high-quality and comprehensive service development, and is committed to rooted in Lianyungang to run education, serving industrial development, and accelerating the cultivation of high-quality technical and skilled talents who are suitable for industries, entrepreneurship and employment.

学校占地1150亩，建筑面积35万平方米，固定资产总额9.2亿元，其中主要教学科研仪器设备总值达2.5亿元，图书馆藏书525万册。现有教职工700余人，其中专任教师637人，正高级职称45人，副高级职称213人，博士45人，硕士449人；全日制本专科在校生14000余人，设有机电工程学院、材料与化工学院、医药工程学院等10个教学单位，开设40余个专业，形成以工科为主，工、文、经、管、艺等多学科协调发展的专业体系。

The college covers an area of 1150 mu (about 766,667 square meters) with a building area of 350,000 square meters. The total value of fixed assets is 920 million yuan, including 250 million yuan worth of main teaching and research instruments and equipment. The library has a collection of 5.25 million books. There are more than 700 faculty members, including 637 full-time teachers, 45 with senior professional titles, 213 with associate senior professional titles, 45 doctors and 449 masters. The college has over 14,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students, and 10 teaching units such as the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the College of Materials and Chemical Engineering, and the College of Pharmaceutical Engineering, offering more than 40 majors. It has formed a discipline system with engineering as the main focus, coordinated development of engineering, liberal arts, economics, management, art and other disciplines.

学校紧密对接产业发展需求，建有8个校级专业群，获批省高水平专业群、重点建设专业群、特色专业等16个，其中国家级实训基地2个、省级实训基地9个，与企业共建4个省级科研平台及14个企业研发中心，深化“院校+园区+企业”产教融合模式，先后荣获“全国职工职业技能实训基地”“江苏省文明校园”等多项荣誉称号，为区域经济社会发展培养了8万多名优秀毕业生。

Closely meeting the needs of industrial development, the college has established 8 school-level professional groups, and has been approved for 16 provincial-level high-level professional groups, key construction professional groups, and characteristic majors. It has 2 national-level training bases, 9 provincial-level training bases, 4 provincial-level scientific research platforms and 14 enterprise R&D centers co-built with enterprises. Deepening the "college + park + enterprise" industry-education integration model, it has successively won many honorary titles such as "National Vocational Skills Training Base" and "Jiangsu Civilized Campus", and has cultivated more than 80,000 outstanding graduates for regional economic and social development.
