辽河石油职业技术学院是一所市属公办全日制高等职业院校，始建于1978年，时名辽河石油学校。2006年6月，经辽宁省人民政府批准、教育部备案升格为高等职业技术学院，2021年划归盘锦市地方政府管理。学院位于辽宁省盘锦市盘山县，占地面积487亩，校舍建筑面积10.3万平方米，现有校内实训室33个、校外实训基地4个，重点培养石油、化工等领域高素质技术技能人才。

Liaohe Petroleum Vocational and Technical College is a municipal public full-time higher vocational college, originally founded in 1978 as Liaohe Petroleum School. In June 2006, it was upgraded to a higher vocational and technical college with the approval of the Liaoning Provincial People's Government and recordation by the Ministry of Education, and was transferred to the administration of Panjin Municipal Government in 2021. Located in Panshan County, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, the college covers an area of 487 mu with a building area of 103,000 square meters, boasting 33 on-campus training rooms and 4 off-campus training bases, focusing on cultivating high-quality technical talents in petroleum, chemical and other fields.

学院以油气地质勘探技术、石油工程技术、化工安全技术等专业为特色，形成了适应能源产业发展需求的专业集群。现有专任教师80人，其中硕士及以上学位教师占比53.3%，“双师型”教师占比超过60%。教学科研仪器设备总值6011万元，生均仪器设备值达10.2万元，图书馆藏书12.1万册，为学生提供了良好的实践教学和科研条件。

The college features specialties such as Oil and Gas Geological Exploration Technology, Petroleum Engineering Technology, and Chemical Safety Technology, forming a professional cluster adapting to the development needs of the energy industry. It has 80 full-time teachers, among whom 53.3% hold master's degrees or above, and over 60% are "double-qualified" teachers. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 60.11 million yuan, with an average of 102,000 yuan per student. The library has a collection of 121,000 books, providing favorable conditions for practical teaching and scientific research.
