嘉兴职业技术学院是嘉兴市人民政府举办的公办高职院校，是全国首批乡村振兴人才培养优质校、全国首批示范性职业教育集团建设牵头校、浙江省示范性高职院校、省高水平高职学校建设单位。学校位于中国共产党的诞生地——嘉兴南湖之畔，现有三个校区，总占地面积1142亩，建筑面积44万平方米，全日制在校生15000余人，教职员工900余人。

Jiaxing Vocational and Technical College is a public higher vocational college run by the Jiaxing Municipal People's Government. It is one of the first national high-quality schools for training rural revitalization talents, the leading school for the construction of the first national demonstration vocational education groups, a model higher vocational college in Zhejiang Province, and a construction unit of high-level vocational schools in Zhejiang Province. Located on the bank of Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing, the birthplace of the Communist Party of China, the college has three campuses with a total area of 1142 mu, a building area of 440,000 square meters, more than 15,000 full-time students and more than 900 faculty members.

学校设有航空与轨道学院、智能制造学院等10个全日制二级学院，开设无人机应用技术、虚拟现实技术应用等42个专业，拥有国家级职业教育教师创新团队1支，享受国务院津贴2人，全国模范教师1人。十三五以来，学生获国家级技能竞赛奖51项，教师承担国家级科研项目7项，获授权专利2300余项，形成了全国典型的集团化办学嘉兴模式。

The college has 10 full-time secondary colleges including the College of Aeronautics and Rail Transit, the College of Intelligent Manufacturing, etc., offering 42 majors such as UAV application technology and virtual reality technology application. It has 1 national vocational education teacher innovation team, 2 people enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, and 1 national model teacher. Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, students have won 51 national skill competition awards, teachers have undertaken 7 national scientific research projects, and obtained more than 2300 authorized patents, forming the national typical Jiaxing model of group-based school running.
