江苏医药职业学院是省卫生健康委员会直属全日制公办专科层次普通高等学校，前身为新四军军部1941年创办的华中卫生学校，历经盐城医学专科学校、江苏省盐城卫生学校等发展阶段，2005年升格为盐城卫生职业技术学院，2017年更现名。学校是江苏省示范性高职院校和中国特色高水平高职学校建设单位，坐落于“东方湿地之都”盐城，现有解放、建军两个校区，占地843.3亩，设12个教学单位，开设临床医学、护理、药学等25个医药卫生大类专业。

Jiangsu Vocational College of Medicine is a full-time public junior college directly under the Provincial Health Commission. Its predecessor was Huazhong Health School founded by the New Fourth Army Headquarters in 1941, evolving through stages such as Yancheng Medical College and Jiangsu Yancheng Health School. Upgraded to Yancheng Health Vocational and Technical College in 2005, it adopted its current name in 2017. As a demonstration vocational college in Jiangsu Province and a construction unit for China's high-level vocational schools with distinctive features, it is located in Yancheng, the "Capital of Oriental Wetlands", with two campuses (Jiefang and Jianjun) covering 843.3 mu, housing 12 teaching units and offering 25 medical and health majors including Clinical Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy.

学校坚持“行方智圆”校训，形成“诚、爱、美、洁、精”的优良校风，构建了以医药卫生大类为主体的专业体系，拥有国家级职业教育教师创新团队、国家级在线精品课程等优质教学资源。临床医学、护理等专业执业资格考试通过率位居全国同类院校前列，累计获全国职业技能大赛特等奖2项、一等奖50项，为社会培养了五万余名高素质医药卫生人才，连续三年获江苏省属高校综合考核第一等次。
