江苏食品药品职业技术学院是江苏省人民政府主办、江苏省教育厅主管的全日制普通高等学校，坐落于一代伟人周恩来的故乡、世界美食之都、中国运河之都、文化名城——江苏省淮安市。学校由江苏省食品学校与江苏省淮安经贸学校于2002年合并升格而建，办学65年来，秉持“以人为本、立德尚能”的校训，弘扬“严谨求实、和谐创新”的校风，坚持服务健康中国战略、培养高素质复合型技术技能人才的办学定位，为社会输送了10万余名适应大健康产业发展需要的合格毕业生。

Jiangsu Food and Pharmaceutical Science College is a full-time public higher education institution sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and administered by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education. It is located in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province—a historical and cultural city known as the hometown of the great man Zhou Enlai, the World Capital of Cuisine, the Capital of China's Grand Canals. Founded in 2002 through the merger and upgrading of Jiangsu Food School and Jiangsu Huai'an Economic and Trade School, the college has adhered to the motto of "People-Oriented, Morality-Fostering and Ability-Enhancing" and promoted the school spirit of "Precision, Realism, Harmony, and Innovation" over its 65-year educational history. Committed to serving the Healthy China Strategy and cultivating high-quality compound technical talents, it has produced over 100,000 qualified graduates meeting the needs of the big health industry.

学校占地1529亩，总建筑面积约35.5万平方米，在校生15000余人，为国家示范性（骨干）高职院校、中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设单位、国家优质高职院校。现有教职工854人，开设食品智能加工技术、药学、护理、烹饪工艺与营养等专业39个，建有国家双高计划专业群1个、央财支持重点专业6个、国家级骨干专业5个，实验实训设备总值2.3亿元，获国家职业教育教学成果二等奖4项，连续两年获评教育部省属高校精准帮扶典型项目，2024年度获省属高校综合考核第一等次。

Covering an area of 1,529 mu (approximately 101.9 hectares) with a total construction area of about 355,000 square meters, the college enrolls over 15,000 students and holds titles such as National Model (Key) Higher Vocational College, China Featured High-Level Vocational College and Professional Construction Unit, and National High-Quality Vocational College. It has 854 faculty members and offers 39 programs including Intelligent Food Processing Technology, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Culinary Arts and Nutrition. The college features 1 national "Double High-Level" program group, 6 key programs supported by the central finance, and 5 national backbone programs, with experimental and training equipment worth 230 million yuan. It has won 4 second prizes in National Vocational Education Teaching Achievements, been recognized as a Model Project for Targeted Poverty Alleviation by Ministry of Education-affiliated colleges for two consecutive years, and ranked first in the 2024 comprehensive assessment of provincial colleges and universities.
