江苏建筑职业技术学院是江苏省属公办全日制高校，国家示范性高职学院、国家优质高职院校、国家“双高计划”建设单位、江苏省卓越高职院校建设单位、江苏省高水平高职院校建设单位。学校坐落于江苏省三大都市圈之一、淮海经济区中心城市——徐州。学校前身是1979年经国务院、中央军委批准创建的中国人民解放军基建工程兵第三技术学校，历经多次更名与发展，2011年正式定名为江苏建筑职业技术学院。

Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Architectural Technology is a public full-time college under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province. It is a National Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, a National High-quality Higher Vocational College, a construction unit of the National "Double High Plan", a construction unit of Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Higher Vocational Colleges, and a construction unit of Jiangsu Provincial High-level Higher Vocational Colleges. The school is located in Xuzhou, one of the three metropolitan circles in Jiangsu Province and the central city of the Huaihai Economic Zone. Its predecessor was the Third Technical School of the Infrastructure Engineering Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, approved by the State Council and the Central Military Commission in 1979. After several renamings and developments, it was officially named Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Architectural Technology in 2011.

学校占地1469亩，现有普通全日制在校学生14000余人，教职工1000余人，其中高级职称教师400余人，博士教师150余人。学校构建了以军校文化、煤炭文化、建筑文化为内核，以企业文化和校友文化为补充的校园育人文化体系，秉承“厚生尚能”校训，坚持“为每一位学生提供最适合的教育，让每一位学生得到最充分的发展”的宗旨，着力培养建筑行业高素质技术技能人才。近年来，学生在国家级、省级各类技能大赛中获一等奖150余项，与45家知名企业共建企业学院和订单班60余个，建有600余家就业实习基地，毕业生就业竞争力持续位居全省高职院校前列。

The school covers an area of 1469 mu, with more than 14,000 full-time students and over 1,000 faculty members, including more than 400 teachers with senior professional titles and over 150 doctors. It has built a campus education culture system with military academy culture, coal culture, and architectural culture as the core, supplemented by corporate culture and alumni culture. Adhering to the school motto of "Hou Sheng Shang Neng" (Cultivating Students and Emphasizing Abilities) and the mission of "providing the most suitable education for each student and enabling each student to achieve full development", the school focuses on cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for the construction industry. In recent years, students have won more than 150 first prizes in national and provincial skill competitions. It has jointly established over 60 enterprise colleges and order classes with 45 well-known enterprises, and built more than 600 employment and internship bases. The employment competitiveness of graduates has remained among the top in higher vocational colleges in the province.
