江苏工程职业技术学院是省属公办全日制普通高等学校，坐落在被誉为“中国近代第一城”的江苏省南通市。学校源于1912年由著名爱国实业家、教育家张謇先生创办的我国第一所纺织专门学校，距今已有110多年办学历史，为国家示范性高职院校、教育部优质高职院校、国家首批“双高计划”高水平专业群建设单位。

Jiangsu College of Engineering and Technology is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution located in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, known as "China's First Modern City". Originating from China's first specialized textile school founded in 1912 by the famous patriotic industrialist and educator Mr. Zhang Jian, the college has a history of over 110 years. It is a National Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, a High-Quality Higher Vocational College of the Ministry of Education, and one of the first national "Double High Plan" high-level professional group construction units.

学校现有全日制在校学生近1.5万名，设有7个二级学院及5个教学机构，开设51个专业，拥有1个中国特色高水平专业群、7个国家骨干专业。教学资源丰富，建有171个实验实训室，包括中央财政支持的现代纺织技术实训基地、江苏省内唯一同时具备CCAR147飞机维修培训资质和CCAR66考点资质的航空培训中心，以及与德国库卡集团共建的机器人应用与培训中心。

The college has nearly 15,000 full-time students, with 7 secondary colleges and 5 teaching institutions offering 51 majors, including 1 China's characteristic high-level professional group and 7 national key majors. It boasts abundant teaching resources with 171 laboratories and training rooms, such as the modern textile technology training base supported by the central finance, the aviation training center (the only vocational college in Jiangsu with both CCAR147 aircraft maintenance training qualification and CCAR66 examination qualification), and the robot application and training center co-built with KUKA Group of Germany.
