哈尔滨电力职业技术学院是经黑龙江省政府批准、教育部备案的国家公办电力类普通高等职业技术院校，隶属于国家电网有限公司。学院始建于1958年，位于哈尔滨市香坊区，毗邻高新技术产业开发区，地理位置优越，校园环境优美。

Harbin Electric Power Vocational and Technical College is a public higher vocational college approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial Government and registered with the Ministry of Education, affiliated to State Grid Corporation of China. Founded in 1958, the college is located in Xiangfang District, Harbin, adjacent to the High-tech Industrial Development Zone, with a superior geographical location and beautiful campus environment.

学院以电力行业需求为导向，开设发电厂及电力系统、电力系统继电保护技术、热能动力工程技术等特色专业，拥有125MW至600MW火电机组仿真系统及66KV至500KV变电站仿真系统等先进实训设备，培养面向电力生产、建设、管理一线的高素质技术技能人才。

Guided by the needs of the electric power industry, the college offers characteristic majors such as Power Plant and Power System, Power System Relay Protection Technology, and Thermal Power Engineering Technology. It has advanced training equipment including 125MW to 600MW thermal power unit simulation systems and 66KV to 500KV substation simulation systems, cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for the front line of electric power production, construction and management.

建校六十余年来，学院秉持“严、实、精、勤”的校风，为国家电力行业输送了数万余名专业人才，毕业生广泛分布于国家电网、南方电网及各大发电集团，就业前景广阔，为我国电力建设和地方经济发展做出重要贡献。
