淮南联合大学成立于1984年9月，是经安徽省政府批准、国家教育部备案的综合性高等专科学校，为安徽省地方技能型高水平大学建设单位、安徽省“双高计划”专业群建设单位。学校实行“一个机构，三块牌子”的办学体制，整合了安徽广播电视大学淮南分校（现更名为淮南开放大学）和淮南职工大学教育资源，现有田家庵区、高新区职教园区及潘集区共7个校区，占地面积约1600亩，设有7个学院及4个教学机构，下辖3所中专学校和1所市级附属医院。

Huainan Union University, founded in September 1984, is a comprehensive public college approved by the Anhui Provincial Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is a construction unit for Anhui Provincial Local Skilled High-level Universities and a "Double High Plan" professional group construction unit. Operating under the "one institution, three brands" system, the university has integrated educational resources from Anhui Radio and Television University Huainan Branch (now renamed Huainan Open University) and Huainan Staff University. It now has 7 campuses across Tianjia'an District, High-tech Zone Vocational Education Park, and Panji District, covering an area of approximately 1,600 mu. The university comprises 7 colleges, 4 teaching institutions, 3 affiliated secondary schools, and 1 municipal affiliated hospital.

学校以高职教育为主体，开设43个常设高职专业，涵盖12个专业大类，其中国家级骨干专业1个、中央财政支持建设专业2个、省级特色专业16个，专业设置与地方产业匹配度达98%。现有专任教师713人，双师型教师占比居全省同类院校前列，建有144个设备先进的校内实验实训室及300余个校企合作实习实训基地，其中国家级实训基地3个、省级实训基地7个，形成了“校企合作、工学结合”的特色人才培养模式，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，为区域经济社会发展培养了大量技术技能型人才。

With higher vocational education as its core, the university offers 43 regular higher vocational programs covering 12 professional categories, including 1 national key major, 2 central finance-supported majors, and 16 provincial characteristic majors. The majors match local industries with a 98% alignment rate. The university has 713 full-time teachers, with the proportion of "double-qualified" teachers ranking among the top in similar institutions in Anhui Province. It boasts 144 advanced on-campus laboratories and over 300 school-enterprise cooperative internship bases, including 3 national-level and 7 provincial-level training bases.
