河南建筑职业技术学院创建于1956年，是河南省唯一独立设置的公办建筑类高等职业院校，隶属于河南省教育厅。学校前身为建筑工程部郑州建筑工程学校和河南省建筑红专大学，历经演变与发展，于2008年正式改制为职业技术学院。作为河南省高水平高等职业学校和高水平专业群建设单位，学校以培养建筑行业高素质技术技能人才为核心，形成了以土木建筑类专业为特色，涵盖资源环境、交通运输等多领域的专业体系。

Henan Technical College of Construction, founded in 1956, is the only independently established public higher vocational college specializing in construction in Henan Province, affiliated to the Henan Provincial Department of Education. Formerly known as Zhengzhou Construction Engineering School of the Ministry of Construction Engineering and Henan Provincial Construction Red Specialty University, it evolved and developed over time, officially restructuring into a vocational and technical college in 2008. As a high-level higher vocational school and high-level professional group construction unit in Henan Province, the college focuses on cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for the construction industry, forming a professional system featuring civil engineering and construction specialties, covering resources and environment, transportation, and other fields.

学校位于郑州市二七区，占地1000余亩，建筑面积30余万平方米，仪器设备总值超3亿元，图书馆纸质藏书93万余册。现有全日制高职在校生1.6万余人，教职工近800人，其中高级职称教师183人，双师型教师420人。开设建筑工程技术、工程造价等57个专业，其中国家级骨干专业2个，省级特色专业3个，建有109个稳定的校外实习实训基地，与140余家企业开展深度校企合作，就业率连续多年保持在95%以上。

Located in Erqi District, Zhengzhou City, the college covers an area of over 1,000 mu, with a building area of more than 300,000 square meters, total value of instruments and equipment exceeding 300 million yuan, and a library with over 930,000 paper books. It currently has more than 16,000 full-time vocational college students and nearly 800 faculty members, including 183 teachers with senior professional titles and 420 dual-qualified teachers. The college offers 57 majors such as Architectural Engineering Technology and Engineering Cost, including 2 national-level key majors and 3 provincial-level characteristic majors. It has established 109 stable off-campus internship and training bases, carried out in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with more than 140 enterprises, and maintained an employment rate of over 95% for many consecutive years.

近年来，学校先后荣获河南省职业教育品牌示范院校、河南省依法治校示范校、河南省现代学徒制试点单位等称号，2023年牵头成立河南省土木建筑骨干职业教育集团，在建筑类人才培养、职业技能培训等方面发挥着示范引领作用，为区域经济社会发展和建筑行业转型升级提供了有力的人才支撑。

In recent years, the college has successively won titles such as Henan Provincial Vocational Education Brand Demonstration College, Henan Provincial Law-Based Governance Demonstration School, and Henan Provincial Modern Apprenticeship Pilot Unit. In 2023, it took the lead in establishing the Henan Provincial Civil Engineering and Construction Key Vocational Education Group, playing a demonstration and leading role in construction talent cultivation and vocational skills training, and providing strong talent support for regional economic and social development and the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.
