河南经贸职业学院位于中原腹地-商都郑州，是河南省人民政府批准、教育部备案、直属于河南省教育厅的一所公办高等职业院校，是国家级优质专科高等职业院校、中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划（2025-2029年）立项建设学校。学校法定住所地为河南省郑州市郑东新区龙子湖高校园区龙子湖北路58号，校园总占地面积842.42亩，建筑面积42.91万平方米，现有在校生24000余人。

Henan Institute of Economics and Trade is located in Zhengzhou, the central plain hinterland and the商都. It is a public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Henan Province, registered by the Ministry of Education, and directly under the Department of Education of Henan Province. It is a national high-quality specialized higher vocational college and a project-constructed school of the China Featured High-level Vocational Schools and Professional Construction Plan (2025 - 2029). The legal domicile of the school is No. 58, Longzihu North Road, Longzihu Higher Education Park, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. The total campus area is 842.42 mu, with a building area of 429,100 square meters, and there are more than 24,000 students.

学校办学历史悠久，前身是1950年创建于开封市学院门街的河南省商业干部学校和1960年创建于郑州市节俭街的河南省商业学校。1990年两校合署办公，2000年与河南商业高等专科学校（现河南牧业经济学院）联合举办专科教育，2001年与河南财经学院（现河南财经政法大学）联合办学，2004年独立升格为河南经贸职业学院，2015年与华北水利水电大学联合举办应用型本科教育。

The school has a long history. Its predecessors are Henan Provincial Commercial Cadre School founded in 1950 at Xueyuanmen Street, Kaifeng City and Henan Provincial Commercial School founded in 1960 at Jiejian Street, Zhengzhou City. In 1990, the two schools worked together. In 2000, it jointly held junior college education with Henan Commercial College (now Henan University of Animal Husbandry and Economy). In 2001, it jointly ran a school with Henan University of Finance and Economics (now Henan University of Finance and Economics and Law). In 2004, it was independently upgraded to Henan Institute of Economics and Trade. In 2015, it jointly held applied undergraduate education with North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power.

学校以商科类专业为主，设有财经商贸大类、电子与信息大类、土木建筑大类等10个专业大类共54个专科专业（方向），形成了电子信息、商贸物流、数字经济、文旅文创四大专业集群，其中人工智能技术应用专业群是中国特色高水平高职专业群，大数据与财务管理等4个专业为国家级骨干专业。现有16个二级学院及6个教辅部门，双师型教师占比超过93%，荣获全国教育系统先进集体、全国职业教育先进集体等多项荣誉。

The school focuses on business-related majors, with 10 major categories including finance and trade, electronics and information, civil engineering and architecture, totaling 54 junior college majors (directions). It has formed four major professional clusters: electronic information, commerce and logistics, digital economy, and cultural tourism and cultural innovation. Among them, the artificial intelligence technology application professional cluster is a high-level vocational professional cluster with Chinese characteristics, and 4 majors such as big data and financial management are national key majors. There are 16 secondary colleges and 6 teaching auxiliary departments. The proportion of double-qualified teachers exceeds 93%. It has won many honors such as the National Advanced Collective in Education System and the National Advanced Collective in Vocational Education.
