河南机电职业学院是省教育厅直属、公办全日制高等职业院校，始建于1953年，坐落于郑州南大学城，占地面积782.4亩，建筑面积50万平方米，教学仪器设备总值3.5亿元，图书40万册。学校下设23个二级学院，开设61个专业，与洛阳理工学院联合开设机械设计制造及其自动化等6个本科专业，现有在校生23000余人。

Henan Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College is a public full-time higher vocational college directly under the Provincial Department of Education. Founded in 1953, it is located in Zhengzhou South University Town, covering an area of 782.4 mu with a building area of 500,000 square meters. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 350 million yuan, and the library has 400,000 books. The college has 23 secondary colleges, offering 61 majors, and jointly offers 6 undergraduate majors such as Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation with Luoyang Institute of Technology, with more than 23,000 students.

学校现有专兼职教师599人，其中教授、副教授116人，博士学位教师31人，90%以上的青年教师具有硕士以上学位，双师型教师占全校专业课教师的98%。学校探索出职业教育“线场模式”，通过将企业资源转化为教学资源，实现人才培养与就业创业无缝对接，学生就业率和社会美誉度屡创新高，先后荣获“全国职业教育先进单位”“河南省文明单位”等荣誉称号。

The college has 599 full-time and part-time teachers, including 116 professors and associate professors, 31 teachers with doctoral degrees. Over 90% of young teachers have master's degrees or above, and 98% of professional course teachers are "double-qualified" teachers.
