黑龙江交通职业技术学院是隶属于黑龙江省教育厅的公办全日制普通高等学校。学校始建于1946年，是我国铁道交通行业办学历史最悠久的高职院校之一。现有全日制普通高职在校生18000余人，是黑龙江省规模较大的高职院校，连续三轮入选黑龙江省“双高计划”建设单位。

Heilongjiang Vocational College of Transportation is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution affiliated to the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province. Founded in 1946, it is one of the vocational colleges with the longest history in China's railway transportation industry. Currently, it has over 18,000 full-time vocational college students, making it one of the larger vocational colleges in Heilongjiang Province, and has been selected as a construction unit of Heilongjiang Province's "Double High Plan" for three consecutive rounds.

学校专业特色鲜明，作为铁路运营类高职院校，铁道类专业齐全，国内名列前茅，积极对接黑龙江省4567现代产业体系需求，面向铁道、粮食、信息、装备制造企业开设25个新工科专业。其中，拥有国家级骨干专业6个、国家级现代学徒制试点专业3个、省级高水平专业群3个。

The college boasts distinctive professional features. As a railway operation-oriented vocational college, it offers a comprehensive range of railway-related majors, ranking among the top in China. Actively aligning with the needs of Heilongjiang Province's 4567 modern industrial system, it has launched 25 new engineering majors for railway, grain, information, and equipment manufacturing enterprises. Among them, there are 6 national-level key majors, 3 national-level modern apprenticeship pilot majors, and 3 provincial-level high-level professional groups.

学校师资力量雄厚，现有教职工672人，其中正副教授196人、双师型教师286人；建有校内实训基地、实训室156个，校外实训基地141个，其中国家级生产性实训基地1个、省级生产性实训基地1个、省级虚拟仿真中心2个。就业渠道畅通，75%以上毕业生面向铁路等国有大型企业就业，近年来就业率稳居省内前列。

The college has a strong faculty, with 672 staff members, including 196 professors and associate professors, and 286 "double-qualified" teachers. It has built 156 on-campus training bases and laboratories, and 141 off-campus training bases, including 1 national-level productive training base, 1 provincial-level productive training base, and 2 provincial-level virtual simulation centers. The employment channels are smooth, with over 75% of graduates employed by large state-owned enterprises such as railways, and the employment rate has remained at the forefront in the province in recent years.
