合肥通用职业技术学院创建于2000年，是经安徽省人民政府批准、国家教育部核准的全日制公办普通高等学校，举办单位为合肥通用机械研究院，隶属于世界500强央企中国机械工业集团有限公司。学院以“职业教育有特色、技能培训有优势、学生管理有口碑、就业质量有保障”为办学特色，依托合肥通用机械研究院在压力容器与管道、流体机械等领域的技术优势，开设制冷与空调技术、安全技术与管理、机电一体化技术等22个招生专业，其中9个专业为安徽省特色专业，2个专业获中央财政支持。

Hefei General Vocational and Technical College, founded in 2000, is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province and accredited by the Ministry of Education of China. Sponsored by Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, which is affiliated to China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), a Fortune Global 500 central enterprise, the college is renowned for its distinctive vocational education, advantageous skill training, reputable student management, and guaranteed employment quality. Leveraging the technical strengths of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute in pressure vessels, pipelines, and fluid machinery, the college offers 22 enrollment majors, including Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology, Safety Technology and Management, and Mechatronics Technology. Among these, 9 are provincial-level characteristic majors, and 2 have received central financial support.

学院秉持“工程师办职业教育”理念，现有省级教学团队8个、省级教学名师2人、享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家2人，建成中央财政支持实训基地、国家高职高专学生实训基地等多个实践平台。依托“院校合一”资源优势，深化产教融合，构建“一市两角三区域”就业基地群，毕业生就业率连续多年保持96%以上，先后荣获“全国高职高专人才培养工作水平评估优秀单位”“安徽省普通高校毕业生就业工作先进单位”等称号。

Adhering to the philosophy of "vocational education run by engineers", the college boasts 8 provincial-level teaching teams, 2 provincial-level teaching masters, and 2 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. It has established multiple practical platforms such as a central finance-supported training base and a national vocational college student training base.
