阜阳职业技术学院是一所经安徽省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制高等专科职业院校，创办于1956年，前身为阜阳教育学院，2001年改制更名为阜阳职业技术学院。学校坐落于长三角一体化区域中心城市、中原经济区东部门户城市——阜阳，毗邻古颍州西湖、阜阳高铁西站、阜阳西关机场，环境优美，交通便利，区位优越。作为国家百所骨干高职院校、安徽省首批示范性高等职业院校、安徽省首批校企合作示范典型学校、安徽省高等职业教育发展标杆校，学校还是中央财政支持的产教融合实训基地项目建设学校，教育部现代学徒制、1+X证书制度试点单位，安徽省首批地方技能型高水平大学立项建设单位，以及安徽省唯一一所火箭军、战略支援部队定向培养士官生院校。

Fuyang Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province and filed by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1956, its predecessor was Fuyang Institute of Education, and it was renamed Fuyang Vocational and Technical College after restructuring in 2001. Located in Fuyang, a central city in the Yangtze River Delta integration region and an eastern gateway city of the Central Plains Economic Zone, the college is adjacent to the ancient Yingzhou West Lake, Fuyang High-speed Railway West Station, and Fuyang Xiguan Airport, enjoying a beautiful environment, convenient transportation, and superior geographical location. As one of the national top 100 backbone higher vocational colleges, the first batch of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province, the first batch of typical school for school-enterprise cooperation demonstration in Anhui Province, and a benchmark school for the development of higher vocational education in Anhui Province, it is also a project construction school for the industry-education integration training base supported by the central finance, a pilot unit for the modern apprenticeship system and the "1+X" certificate system of the Ministry of Education, the first batch of local high-level skilled university project construction units in Anhui Province, and the only college in Anhui Province for定向 training of non-commissioned officers for the Rocket Force and the Strategic Support Force.

学校始终坚持以立德树人为根本，以技术技能人才培养为目标，以促进就业为导向，秉承“敦品、励行、技强、业精”校训，树立“乐学善教，知行合一”办学理念，确立“以农学为基础，以工科为主干，多科类协调发展”办学定位。现设有城乡建设学院（乡村振兴学院）、信息与智能制造学院、经济与管理学院、康养护理学院、医学院、学前教育学院、公共基础教育学院、马克思主义学院8个教学单位，开设专业39个，覆盖农林牧渔、生化与药品、制造、电子信息、交通运输、土建设计、医药卫生、财经、文化教育、旅游等专业大类。其中拥有国家级教学改革试点专业1个、国家骨干高职院校重点建设专业4个、中央财政支持提升专业服务产业发展能力建设项目专业2个、国家高等职业教育创新发展行动计划项目骨干专业3个，省级示范专业、特色专业、综合改革试点专业26个。

Adhering to the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people, the college aims at cultivating technical and skilled talents, takes promoting employment as the orientation, upholds the school motto of "Upholding Morality, Practicing Earnestly, Strengthening Skills, and Being Excellent in Career", establishes the school-running philosophy of "Happy Learning and Good Teaching, Unity of Knowledge and Practice", and defines the school-running orientation of "taking agriculture as the foundation, engineering as the backbone, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines". It now has 8 teaching units, including the College of Urban and Rural Construction (Rural Revitalization College), the College of Information and Intelligent Manufacturing, the College of Economics and Management, the College of Health Care and Nursing, the School of Medicine, the School of Preschool Education, the College of Public Basic Education, and the School of Marxism. It offers 39 majors covering major categories such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, biochemistry and pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, electronic information, transportation, civil construction and design, medicine and health, finance and economics, culture and education, and tourism. Among them, there is 1 national-level teaching reform pilot major, 4 key construction majors of national backbone higher vocational colleges, 2 majors supported by the central finance to enhance the ability of professional services for industrial development, 3 backbone majors of the National Higher Vocational Education Innovation and Development Action Plan project, and 26 provincial-level demonstration majors, characteristic majors, and comprehensive reform pilot majors.

学校现有占地面积1300亩，校舍建筑面积47万平方米，教学仪器设备总值近2亿元，校内外专兼职教师规模达到1100多人，全日制在校生19357人。校内建有各专业实训室（实习车间）144个，与200多家企业签订校企合作协议，开展产学研、实习实训和定向就业合作，成立国家职业技能鉴定所、阜阳酿酒工业研究会等机构，面向退役士兵、农民工、行业企业在岗职工等开展各类培训和技能鉴定，为安徽及阜阳经济社会发展提供了重要的人才支撑和智力支持。

The college covers an area of 1300 mu, with a school building area of 470,000 square meters, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment is nearly 200 million yuan. There are more than 1,100 full-time and part-time teachers inside and outside the college, and 19,357 full-time students. There are 144 professional training rooms (internship workshops) on campus. The college has signed school-enterprise cooperation agreements with more than 200 enterprises to carry out industry-university-research, internship training and定向 employment cooperation. It has established institutions such as the National Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute and Fuyang Brewing Industry Research Association, and carries out various types of training and skill appraisal for retired soldiers, migrant workers, and on-the-job employees of industry enterprises, providing important talent support and intellectual support for the economic and social development of Anhui and Fuyang.
