大兴安岭职业学院是2002年由黑龙江省人民政府批准成立、国家教育部备案的公办全日制综合性普通高等学校，是大兴安岭地区产业人才培训基地，黑龙江省骨干高等职业院校、1+X证书试点单位、省级文明单位标兵、省级文明校园。

Daxing'anling Vocational College is a public full-time comprehensive ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2002. It is an industrial talent training base in the Daxing'anling region, a backbone higher vocational college in Heilongjiang Province, a pilot unit for the "1+X" certificate system, a provincial civilized unit model, and a provincial civilized campus.

学校占地44公顷，建筑面积近9.2万平方米，建有附属医院、综合实训基地、版画创作基地等75个校内实训、实践基地和分布在全国各地的110个校外实习、就业基地，拥有大兴安岭寒地中药产业研究院，大兴安岭寒地药材与智能产业研发中心、大兴安岭检验检测中心及兴安文化研究所等多个关键技术研发平台、文化传承创新平台、职业培训服务平台，固定资产总值2.3亿元，教学科研仪器设备值近6000万元。

The college covers an area of 44 hectares with a building area of nearly 92,000 square meters. It has 75 on-campus training and practice bases including affiliated hospitals, comprehensive training bases, and printmaking creation bases, as well as 110 off-campus internship and employment bases across the country. It also houses several key technology research and development platforms, cultural inheritance and innovation platforms, and vocational training service platforms such as the Daxing'anling Cold Region Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Research Institute, the Daxing'anling Cold Region Medicinal Materials and Intelligent Industry R&D Center, the Daxing'anling Inspection and Testing Center, and the Xing'an Culture Research Institute. The total value of fixed assets is 230 million yuan, and the value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is nearly 60 million yuan.

全日制在校生4000余人；有教职工295人，其中专兼职教师245人，高级职称教师78人，研究生学历教师102人，双师型教师103人，省级教学名师5人。设有医学技术学院、人文教育学院、生态环境学院、信息工程管理学院、艺术设计学院、继续教育与培训学院6个二级学院和基础部、思政部2个基础学科教学单位，开设临床医学、护理、林业技术、计算机网络技术等20余个高职高专专业。

There are over 4,000 full-time students and 295 faculty members, including 245 full-time and part-time teachers, 78 with senior professional titles, 102 with postgraduate degrees, 103 "double-qualified" teachers, and 5 provincial-level teaching masters. The college has 6 secondary colleges: the School of Medical Technology, the School of Humanities and Education, the School of Ecological Environment, the School of Information Engineering and Management, the School of Art and Design, and the School of Continuing Education and Training, as well as 2 basic discipline teaching units: the Basic Department and the Ideological and Political Department. It offers more than 20 higher vocational and technical majors such as Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Forestry Technology, and Computer Network Technology.

学校秉持质量立校、人才强校、特色兴校的办学理念，牵头组建由65家政校行企单位组成的大兴安岭职教联盟，与多家大型企业及国内外知名院校建立对口合作关系，积极开展职业培训，为区域经济社会发展培养高素质技术技能人才。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "establishing the college with quality, strengthening it with talents, and prospering it with characteristics", the college takes the lead in establishing the Daxing'anling Vocational Education Alliance composed of 65 government, school, industry, and enterprise units. It has established counterpart cooperation relations with many large enterprises and well-known domestic and foreign institutions, and actively carries out vocational training to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
