大连商务职业学院创建于1997年，是经辽宁省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的一所以培养专业型实用型商务人才为主的全日制普通高等院校。学院坐落于国家级港口城市、东北亚国际航运中心、国际物流中心、风景秀丽、充满生机活力、适宜人居的浪漫之都——大连市。校园是集山水为一体的生态型、园林式、现代化校园，占地面积40万平方米，建筑面积15万平方米。

Dalian Business Vocational College, founded in 1997, is a full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Liaoning Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, focusing on cultivating professional and practical business talents. The college is located in Dalian, a national port city, an international shipping center and logistics center in Northeast Asia, which is a beautiful, vibrant and livable romantic city. The campus is an ecological, garden-style and modern campus integrating mountains and rivers, covering an area of 400,000 square meters with a building area of 150,000 square meters.

学院根据社会需求开设50余个市场紧缺型专业，各类专业特色鲜明，建有一批特色专业、省级示范专业。教学设备齐全，拥有多功能教学大楼、综合实训楼、现代化图书馆、标准体育场及47个各类专业实验实训室，教学设施先进程度在同类院校中位居前列。师资力量雄厚，各类教职工400余人，其中教授、副教授占教师比例18%，双师型教师占85%，研究生以上学历占50%以上，并聘请知名高校教授任教。

The college offers more than 50 market-in-demand majors according to social needs, with distinct characteristics in various majors, and has established a number of featured majors and provincial demonstration majors. It is well-equipped with teaching facilities, including a multi-functional teaching building, a comprehensive training building, a modern library, a standard stadium and 47 professional experimental training rooms, with the advanced level of teaching facilities ranking among the top in similar institutions. The college has a strong faculty of over 400 staff, among whom professors and associate professors account for 18% of the teachers, double-qualified teachers account for 85%, and those with postgraduate education or above account for more than 50%. It also employs professors from well-known universities to teach.

学院始终坚持以就业为导向，大力开展校企合作，实现订单式培养，为社会培养高素质技能型人才。实行半军事化管理，注重学生实践能力和创新精神培养，赢得用人单位和社会广泛好评。目前面向全国16个省、自治区、直辖市招生，是培养商务领域实用型人才的重要基地。
