安庆职业技术学院创办于2003年6月，是经安徽省人民政府批准设立、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，由原安庆师范学院东一区、东二区及安庆农业学校、安庆市财贸学校合并组建。学院坐落于国家历史文化名城安庆市，地处国家级经济技术开发区，毗邻政务新区与秦潭湖生态公园，校园占地744亩，建筑面积21万平方米，全日制在校生9000余人。

Anqing Vocational and Technical College was founded in June 2003. It is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Anhui Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It was formed by merging the East First District and East Second District of the former Anqing Normal University, Anqing Agricultural School, and Anqing Finance and Trade School. Located in Anqing, a national historical and cultural city, the college is situated in the national economic and technological development zone, adjacent to the government affairs new district and Qintan Lake Ecological Park. The campus covers an area of 744 mu with a building area of 210,000 square meters, and has over 9,000 full-time students.

学院以“勤学笃行、德技双馨”为校训，构建了农林、建筑、机械、电子信息等七大类专业群，开设37个专业，拥有中央财政支持实训基地、省级示范实验实训中心等教学平台。近年来获国家级教学成果奖2项，省级以上教科研项目20余项，毕业生就业率连续保持98%以上，获评安徽省示范性高职院校、毕业生就业工作先进集体。

With the motto "Diligent Learning, Sincere Practice, Virtue and Skills", the college has established seven major groups including agriculture and forestry, architecture, machinery, and electronic information, offering 37 majors. It has teaching platforms such as a central finance-supported training base and provincial demonstration experimental training centers. In recent years, it has won 2 national teaching achievement awards and more than 20 provincial-level teaching and research projects. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 98% for consecutive years, and it has been rated as an Anhui Provincial Demonstrative Higher Vocational College and an Advanced Collective for Graduate Employment Work.
