安徽艺术职业学院是安徽省唯一一所公办综合性全日制高等艺术院校，其前身是创办于1956年的安徽艺术学校。2003年6月经安徽省人民政府批准，将安徽省电影学校并入，成立安徽艺术职业学院。学校辖宣城路和丹霞路两个校区，在校生含本科、专科、高职三个办学层次，下设音乐学院、舞蹈学院、戏剧学院等10个二级学院，开设音乐表演、舞蹈表演、美术设计等24个高职专业，是安徽文化艺术人才培养的重要基地。

Anhui Vocational College of Art is the only public comprehensive full-time higher art institution in Anhui Province. Its predecessor was Anhui Art School founded in 1956. In June 2003, with the approval of the People's Government of Anhui Province, Anhui Film School was merged into it to establish Anhui Vocational College of Art. The college has two campuses, Xuancheng Road and Danxia Road, with students at three educational levels: undergraduate, junior college and higher vocational education. It has 10 secondary colleges including the School of Music, School of Dance and School of Drama, offering 24 higher vocational majors such as music performance, dance performance and art design, and is an important base for cultivating cultural and artistic talents in Anhui.

学校坚持以生为本、以用为先的人才培养理念，构建了音乐、戏剧、舞蹈、美术、影视艺术、艺术设计6大专业群，其中戏曲表演、舞蹈表演专业为中央财政支持提升专业服务产业发展能力项目。师资力量雄厚，拥有一支由资深艺术家和行业专家组成的教师队伍，并聘请众多国内外知名专家学者担任客座教授，注重实践教学与行业对接，为学生提供丰富的演出、展览等实践机会。

Adhering to the talent training concept of "student-oriented and application-first", the college has constructed 6 major professional groups including music, drama, dance, fine arts, film and television art, and art design. Among them, the majors of opera performance and dance performance are supported by the central finance to enhance the professional service industry development capacity project. It has a strong faculty composed of senior artists and industry experts, and has invited many well-known domestic and foreign experts and scholars as visiting professors. It pays attention to practical teaching and industry connection, providing students with rich practical opportunities such as performances and exhibitions.

建校60多年来，学校为社会培养了大批优秀艺术人才，涌现出我国第一位琵琶女博士李景侠、著名歌唱演员马梅、黄梅戏"五朵金花"马兰等众多知名艺术家，被誉为"安徽艺术人才的摇篮"。校园艺术氛围浓厚，教学设施完善，是培养高素质、强能力、精才艺、善应用的应用型艺术人才的重要阵地。

Over the past 60 years since its establishment, the college has cultivated a large number of outstanding artistic talents for the society, including Li Jingxia, the first female doctor of pipa in China, famous singer Ma Mei, and Ma Lan, one of the "Five Golden Flowers" of Huangmei Opera, and is known as "the cradle of Anhui artistic talents". With a strong campus artistic atmosphere and complete teaching facilities, it is an important position for cultivating applied artistic talents with high quality, strong ability, excellent talent and good application.
