安徽冶金科技职业学院是经安徽省人民政府批准、教育部备案，由中国宝武马钢集团投资兴办的一所全日制公办普通高等职业学校，是中国宝武马钢集团高技能人才培养的重要基地。前身创建于1983年的马钢职工大学，2003年6月经安徽省人民政府正式批准成立安徽冶金科技职业学院。2009年8月，马钢为有效利用教育培训资源，将安徽冶金科技职业学院、安徽马钢技师学院整合，成立马钢教育培训中心，整合后的学院优化了教育资源，增强了师资力量，办学条件得到进一步改善。

Anhui Vocational College of Metallurgy and Technology is a full-time public higher vocational school approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province, registered with the Ministry of Education, and invested by China Baowu Ma'anshan Iron & Steel Group. It serves as an important base for cultivating high-skilled talents for China Baowu Ma'anshan Iron & Steel Group. Its predecessor, Ma'anshan Iron & Steel Workers' University, was founded in 1983. In June 2003, it was officially approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province to establish Anhui Vocational College of Metallurgy and Technology. In August 2009, to effectively utilize educational and training resources, Ma'anshan Iron & Steel integrated Anhui Vocational College of Metallurgy and Technology and Anhui Ma'anshan Iron & Steel Technician College to establish the Ma'anshan Iron & Steel Education and Training Center. After the integration, the college optimized educational resources, strengthened the teaching staff, and further improved school-running conditions.

学院建有省级博士后科研工作站，是国家高技能人才培训基地、安徽省专业技术人员继续教育基地、安徽省中高职教师企业实践基地、安徽省创新方法推广应用基地。坐落在长三角地区风景秀丽的全国文明城市——马鞍山市，占地330亩，现有南、北两个主功能校区，南校区为学历教育和公司工程技术人员培训区，北校区为实习实训和公司操作维护人员培训区。学院始终坚持面向市场、服务发展、促进就业的办学方针，秉承“打造金色蓝领”的价值追求，以“崇德尚能、笃学践行”为校训，为马钢及社会培养了数以万计的高素质技术技能人才。

The college has established a provincial-level postdoctoral research workstation and is a national high-skilled talent training base, Anhui Provincial Continuing Education Base for Professional and Technical Personnel, Anhui Provincial Enterprise Practice Base for Secondary and Higher Vocational Teachers, and Anhui Provincial Base for Popularization and Application of Innovation Methods. Located in Ma'anshan, a beautiful national civilized city in the Yangtze River Delta region, the college covers an area of 330 mu and has two main functional campuses, South and North. The South Campus is for academic education and training of the company's engineering and technical personnel, while the North Campus is for internship training and training of the company's operation and maintenance personnel.
