安徽邮电职业技术学院是2004年经安徽省人民政府批准、教育部备案的一所专科层次的公办全日制高等职业学院，为安徽省内唯一的通信类高等院校，也是华东地区首家独立设置的高等通信职业学院。学院前身是创建于1948年、被誉为“安徽邮电黄埔军校”的安徽省邮电学校，为省、部级重点普通中等专业学校，也是全省邮电职工教育的重要培训基地。

Anhui Post and Telecommunication College is a public full-time higher vocational college at the junior college level approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2004. It is the only higher education institution specializing in communications in Anhui Province and the first independently established higher communications vocational college in East China. The college's predecessor is Anhui Post and Telecommunication School, founded in 1948 and known as the "Whampoa Military Academy of Anhui Post and Telecommunications". It is a key provincial and ministerial-level ordinary secondary professional school and an important training base for postal and telecommunication staff education in the province.

学院坐落在安徽省省会合肥市文教单位聚集的蜀山区潜山路382号，校园环境优美，建筑典雅，花木繁茂。现有在校生3000余人，教职员工300余人，建有企业专家和能工巧匠组成的近百名兼职教师库，专任教师中高级职称占比33%以上，硕士及以上、双师型教师占比81%以上。学院下设计算机与网络学院、电子与信息工程学院等五个二级学院，开设现代通信技术、物联网应用技术等16个高职专业，其中国家级重点专业1个、省级特色专业7个。

The college is located at No. 382 Qianshan Road, Shushan District, Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, where educational institutions gather. The campus has a beautiful environment with elegant buildings and lush flowers and trees. It currently has over 3,000 students and more than 300 faculty members, and has a pool of nearly 100 part-time teachers composed of enterprise experts and skilled craftsmen. Among the full-time teachers, over 33% have senior professional titles, and over 81% have master's degrees or above and are double-qualified teachers. The college has five secondary colleges including the School of Computer and Network and the School of Electronics and Information Engineering, offering 16 higher vocational majors such as Modern Communication Technology and Internet of Things Application Technology, including 1 national key major and 7 provincial characteristic majors.

学院坚持“岗课赛证”融通，大力推行“1+X”证书制度，深化“三教改革”，与安徽通服、合肥轨道等知名企业建立长期人才培养合作机制，毕业生就业率始终保持在省内高校前列。70多年来，学院为通信行业培养了近十万名优秀人才，成为推动安徽及华东地区通信发展的核心力量，先后荣获“全国职工教育培训优秀示范点”“安徽省高校毕业生就业工作标兵单位”等称号。

The college adheres to the integration of "posts, courses, competitions, and certificates", vigorously promotes the "1+X" certificate system, and deepens the "three education reforms". It has established long-term talent training cooperation mechanisms with well-known enterprises such as Anhui Communications Service and Hefei Rail Transit, and the employment rate of graduates has always remained at the forefront of colleges and universities in the province. Over the past 70 years, the college has trained nearly 100,000 outstanding talents for the communications industry, becoming a core force in promoting communications development in Anhui and East China. It has successively won titles such as "National Excellent Demonstration Point for Staff Education and Training" and "Anhui Provincial College Graduates Employment Work Model Unit".
