安徽新闻出版职业技术学院前身是中德两国政府职教合作项目——合肥中德印刷培训中心，2004年升格为高等职业院校，2019年划归安徽省委宣传部领导并管理，业务上接受省教育厅指导。学院秉承“厚德力行、博学勤思”校训，通过深化产教融合、创新工学结合，践行双元制人才培养模式，构建特色化、高水平的技术技能人才培养体系，已发展成为安徽及长三角地区文化事业、文化产业和文旅行业的重要人才基地。

Anhui Vocational College of Press and Publishing originated from the Hefei Sino-German Printing Training Center, a vocational education cooperation project between the Chinese and German governments. It was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2004 and placed under the leadership and management of the Publicity Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee in 2019, with professional guidance from the Anhui Provincial Department of Education. Adhering to the motto of "Virtue, Action, Erudition, and Reflection", the college practices the dual-system talent training model by deepening industry-education integration and innovating work-study integration, constructing a distinctive and high-level technical and skilled talent training system. It has developed into an important talent base for cultural undertakings, cultural industries, and cultural tourism industries in Anhui and the Yangtze River Delta region.

学院是国家“印刷高技能人才培训基地”“数字出版高端人才培养基地”“全媒体采编人才培养基地”，长三角新闻出版职教创新联盟副理事长单位，安徽省三全育人综合改革试点单位、安徽省地方技能型高水平大学立项建设单位。学院构建了以新闻传播、艺术设计、机电信息、经济管理为支撑的四大专业集群，开设摄影摄像技术、动漫制作技术、包装策划与设计、大数据与会计等35个专业，现有教职工445人，其中专任教师407人，教授、副教授85人，博士、硕士189人，在校生8300余人。

The college is a national "Printing High-skilled Talent Training Base", "Digital Publishing High-end Talent Training Base", and "All-media Editing and Reporting Talent Training Base", as well as the vice-chairman unit of the Yangtze River Delta Press and Publishing Vocational Education Innovation Alliance. It is also a pilot unit for the comprehensive reform of "Three-All Education" in Anhui Province and a project-constructed unit for Anhui Provincial Local Skilled High-level University. The college has built four major professional clusters supported by journalism and communication, art and design, electromechanical information, and economic management, offering 35 majors such as photography and video technology, animation production technology, packaging planning and design, and big data and accounting. It currently has 445 faculty members, including 407 full-time teachers, 85 professors and associate professors, 189 doctors and masters, and more than 8,300 students.
