安徽卫生健康职业学院是一所省属公办全日制普通高等职业院校，其前身为创办于1926年的芜湖医院护士学校，先后历经芜湖卫生学校、池州卫生学校、安徽省计划生育学校等办学阶段。2012年3月升格为安徽人口职业学院，正式列入专科层次的全日制普通高校行列。2017年5月，经省人民政府批准并经教育部备案更名为安徽卫生健康职业学院，隶属于安徽省卫生健康委员会，业务上同时接受省教育厅指导。目前在校学生14000余人，本科生（联合培养）235人。

Anhui Health College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college directly under the Anhui Provincial Health Commission. Its predecessor was Wuhu Hospital Nurse School founded in 1926, which has gone through several development stages including Wuhu Health School, Chizhou Health School, and Anhui Family Planning School. In March 2012, it was upgraded to Anhui Population Vocational College, officially becoming a full-time college at the junior college level. In May 2017, with the approval of the provincial government and the record of the Ministry of Education, it was renamed Anhui Health College. Currently, there are more than 14,000 students and 235 undergraduates (joint training) in the college.

学院位于安徽省池州市教育园区，依山傍水，风景秀丽。规划面积800亩，总建筑面积约20余万平方米，教学、科研仪器设备资产总值6000余万元。设有护理系、健康服务系、医学系、医疗卫生技术系和基础部、思政部等6个教学系部，开设覆盖医药卫生大类、公共管理与服务大类等5个专业大类的高职高专专业26个，其中康复治疗技术专业为国家骨干专业。学院建有8个实训中心，拥有2所直属附属医院、6所非直属附属医院和10余所“双主体育人”合作医院，2022年获批安徽省地方技能型高水平大学建设单位。

The college is located in the Education Park of Chizhou City, Anhui Province, with beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains and rivers. It covers a planned area of 800 mu, with a total construction area of about 200,000 square meters and teaching and research equipment worth more than 60 million yuan. It has 6 teaching departments including Nursing Department, Health Service Department, Medical Department, Medical and Health Technology Department, Basic Department and Ideological and Political Department, offering 26 higher vocational majors covering 5 professional categories such as medicine and health, public management and services. Among them, Rehabilitation Therapy Technology is a national key major. The college has 8 training centers, 2 affiliated hospitals, 6 non-affiliated hospitals and more than 10 "dual-subject education" cooperative hospitals. In 2022, it was approved as a construction unit of Anhui Provincial Local Skilled High-level University.
