安徽商贸职业技术学院是2000年经安徽省人民政府批准、教育部备案，由安徽省商业学校和安徽商业职工大学合并建立的公办全日制专科层次高等职业院校，隶属于安徽省教育厅。学校是中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划建设单位、国家优质专科高等职业院校、国家优秀骨干高职院校，坐落在具有“长江巨埠、皖之中坚”美誉的国家级开放城市——芜湖，前身是1903年创办于湖南长沙的安徽旅湘公学。

Anhui Business College is a public full-time higher vocational college at the junior college level approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province and filed by the Ministry of Education in 2000. It was established by the merger of Anhui Commercial School and Anhui Commercial Workers' University, and is affiliated to the Department of Education of Anhui Province. The college is a construction unit of the "China Featured High-level Vocational Schools and Professional Construction Plan", a national high-quality junior college vocational college, and a national excellent backbone vocational college. It is located in Wuhu, a national open city known as "the giant port of the Yangtze River and the backbone of Anhui". Its predecessor was Anhui Lvxiang Public School founded in Changsha, Hunan in 1903.

学校现有全日制在校生近13000人，教师600余人，双师素质专业教师占专业课教师总数90%以上。设有电子商务学院、会计学院等9个二级教学单位，开设41个专业，其中国家级高水平建设专业群1个、国家级重点建设专业9个，拥有职业教育国家在线精品课程3门、国家级课程思政示范课程2门。近年来，学生获世界职业院校技能大赛银奖1项、全国职业院校技能大赛一等奖24项，毕业生就业率和就业质量稳居全国同类院校前列。

The college currently has nearly 13,000 full-time students and more than 600 teachers, with "double-qualified" professional teachers accounting for more than 90% of the total professional teachers. It has 9 secondary teaching units including the School of E-Commerce and the School of Accounting, offering 41 majors, including 1 national high-level construction professional group and 9 national key construction majors. It also has 3 national online quality courses for vocational education and 2 national curriculum ideological and political demonstration courses. In recent years, students have won 1 silver medal in the World Vocational College Skills Competition and 24 first prizes in the National Vocational College Skills Competition, and the employment rate and quality of graduates have remained among the top of similar institutions in the country.
