安徽粮食工程职业学院原名安徽省合肥粮食学校，始建于1964年，现隶属于安徽省发展和改革委员会、安徽省粮食和物资储备局。2002年更名为安徽经济技术学校，2004年原安徽省粮食干部学校并入，2007年5月成立安徽商贸工程技师学院，2012年3月升格为安徽粮食工程职业学院，正式步入高等职业院校行列。

Anhui Vocational College of Grain Engineering, formerly known as Anhui Hefei Grain School, was founded in 1964 and is now affiliated to Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Anhui Provincial Grain and Material Reserve Bureau. It was renamed Anhui Economic and Technical School in 2002, merged with the former Anhui Provincial Grain Cadre School in 2004, established Anhui Business and Trade Engineering Technician College in May 2007, and upgraded to Anhui Vocational College of Grain Engineering in March 2012, officially entering the ranks of higher vocational colleges.

学院位于合肥市新站高新区，现有在校生1万余人，专兼职教师500余人，另聘请近20名专家学者担任特聘教授和产业教授。设有6大专业群34个专业，其中粮食工程技术与管理、粮油储运与质量安全等11个特色重点专业，粮食工程技术、粮油储藏与检测技术等涉粮专业为安徽省高职院校独有。学院建有119个实验实训室、3792个实训工位，图书馆馆藏纸质图书31万余册、电子图书50万余册，形成了以粮食行业为特色的高素质技术技能人才培养体系。

The college is located in Hefei Xinzhan High-tech Zone, with over 10,000 students and more than 500 full-time and part-time teachers, in addition to nearly 20 experts and scholars employed as distinguished professors and industrial professors. It has 6 major professional groups covering 34 specialties, including 11 characteristic key majors such as Grain Engineering Technology and Management, and Grain and Oil Storage and Transportation with Quality Safety. Grain-related majors like Grain Engineering Technology and Grain and Oil Storage and Testing Technology are unique among higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province. The college has built 119 experimental training rooms with 3,792 training stations, and the library has a collection of over 310,000 paper books and 500,000 e-books, forming a high-quality technical and skilled talent training system featuring the grain industry.
