安徽机电职业技术学院是安徽省人民政府举办、省教育厅主管的公办全日制高等职业院校，办学始于1935年的安徽私立内思高级职业学校，2003年经安徽省人民政府批准升格为高职院校。学校秉持“地方性、行业类、技能型、特色化”的办学定位，弘扬“修德、练技、立业、报国”的校训精神，是国家骨干高职院校、国家优质专科高职学校、国家“双高计划”建设单位，2025年入选国家第二期“双高计划”建设学校，工业机器人技术、新能源汽车技术2个专业群获得支持。

Anhui Technical College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering is a public full-time higher vocational college sponsored by the People's Government of Anhui Province and administered by the Anhui Provincial Department of Education. Its educational history dates back to Anhui Private Neisi Advanced Vocational School founded in 1935, and it was upgraded to a higher vocational college with the approval of the People's Government of Anhui Province in 2003. Adhering to the school-running orientation of "local, industry-oriented, skill-based and distinctive" and carrying forward the school motto of "Cultivating Morality, Practicing Skills, Establishing Career and Serving the Country", the college is a National Key Vocational College, a National High-quality Junior College, and a construction unit of the National "Double High Plan". In 2025, it was selected into the second phase of the National "Double High Plan" construction schools, with two professional groups of Industrial Robot Technology and New Energy Vehicle Technology supported.

学校现有文昌、繁昌两个校区，占地面积1505.77亩，校舍建筑总面积42.16万平方米，各类在校生10000余人，教职工682人，高级职称教师占比34%，硕博士教师占比80%。设有8个专业学院，40个招生专业，建有国家级高水平专业群3个、省级高水平专业群4个，拥有国家骨干专业8个、教育部现代学徒制试点专业7个。学生获世界（全国）职业院校技能大赛一等奖22项，毕业生年终就业去向落实率连续多年保持在96%以上，形成了以工为主、支撑产业、服务地方的鲜明办学特色。

The college has two campuses, Wenchang and Fanchang, covering an area of 1505.77 mu with a total building area of 421,600 square meters. It has more than 10,000 students and 682 faculty members, with 34% of teachers having senior professional titles and 80% having master's or doctoral degrees. There are 8 professional colleges and 40 enrollment majors, including 3 national high-level professional groups, 4 provincial high-level professional groups, 8 national key majors, and 7 pilot majors of modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education. Students have won 22 first prizes in World (National) Vocational College Skills Competitions, and the annual employment rate of graduates has remained above 96% for many years, forming a distinctive school-running characteristic focusing on engineering, supporting industries and serving the local area.
